Condolence Message to the Families of the Victims of the Easter Tragedy in Billiri

With heavy hearts, the entire team at Halima Factor Community Initiative extends our deepest condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the tragic incident that occurred yesterday, during the Easter celebration in Billiri, Gombe State.

We are devastated by the news of the loss of five lives and the injuries sustained by thirteen others when a truck rammed into the peaceful gathering of Christians celebrating this sacred occasion. This is a heartbreaking moment for our community, and our thoughts and prayers are with every family affected by this tragedy.

To those who lost their loved ones, we mourn with you. We recognize the depth of your pain, and we pray that God grants you the strength and comfort to endure this unimaginable loss. To the injured, we wish you a full and speedy recovery and assure you that you are not alone — the community stands beside you.

Easter is a time of hope, renewal, and reflection on the power of love and sacrifice. Even in this moment of darkness, may we find the strength to uphold these values and come together in unity and compassion.
