Have You Fallen in Love With Your Distractions?
We cannot fall in love with our distractions and still fulfill our purpose. Destiny fulfillment requires us to make tough decisions about our distractions.
The power Delilah had over Samson stemmed from his love for her. When you fall in love with your distractions, you become too weak to make the critical decisions needed to fulfill your destiny.
Today, many of us want to be fully distracted yet still achieve our destiny. We aim to produce deep work while endlessly scrolling on our gadgets. We don’t mind being in prayer while simultaneously checking the latest social media updates.
Until we resolve to cut ties with these attractive distractions, we will struggle to move forward. When destiny calls your name, answer with a resolute "yes."
The distracted will never leave a meaningful mark on the earth because they are too busy chasing mediocrity in the shallow waters of life. The cost of this distraction is the inability to maximize our potential and fulfill God’s plans and purpose for our lives.
