YYC Osun Chapter Congratulates Governor Ademola Adeleke on Successful Re-election
The Yorùbá Youth Council of Nigeria (YYC), Osun State Chapter, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, on his successful re-election for a second term in office.
In a congratulatory message signed by the State Public Relations Officer, Comrade Omoluabi Joseph Oyelami, on Monday, 17th August 2026, the council described the victory as a significant political achievement and a reflection of the confidence reposed in the governor’s administration by the people of Osun State.
The council noted that the outcome of the election further underscored the importance of democracy and the power of citizens to freely determine their leaders through the ballot box. It also commended the people of Osun State for exercising their civic responsibility and participating actively in the democratic process.
According to the YYC, the governor’s second term provides an opportunity to consolidate the achievements of his administration and pursue policies and programmes capable of improving the welfare, security, economic prosperity and overall development of the people of Osun State.
As a youth-focused organisation, the council particularly urged Governor Adeleke to give greater attention to youth development, employment opportunities, education, skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, innovation and meaningful youth participation in governance throughout his second term.
The YYC stressed that the energy, creativity, talents and potential of young people remain critical to the sustainable development of Osun State, calling for an enabling environment where youths can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the state’s growth.
The council also appealed to political leaders, youths, traditional and community leaders, civil society organisations and other stakeholders to place the interest of Osun State above partisan considerations and work collectively towards peace, unity, progress and sustainable development.
“Once again, we warmly congratulate Your Excellency, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, on your re-election. We wish you a successful, peaceful and impactful second term in office,” the council stated.
The Yorùbá Youth Council of Nigeria, Osun State Chapter, further assured the administration of its commitment to promoting responsible citizenship, youth participation, peace, unity and sustainable development across the state.
