A SPIRITUAL GIANT SLEEPS

In local parlance, “An Iroko has fallen…”

It feels just like the other day we were together, celebrating God’s faithfulness in your life at your 80th birthday. Since receiving the news of your passing into glory it has been difficult to grasp and come to terms with.

Yet, we are comforted by the truth that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Your impact on the lives of multitudes can never be overstated. Countless lives and testimonies bear witness to the fruitfulness of your life and ministry.

You served the Lord wholeheartedly till your very last breath, and I believe you’ve now heard those precious words: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Uma, now you rest in the bosom of the Lord. Till we meet again at the Master’s feet.

On a trip inter-state to attend a preaching function with a friend, David Oyedepo was to drive his volkswagen beetle but was in pain caused by a big boil on his buttock. As he sat in the driver's seat and began to drive the few hours to their destination, the pain became unbearable.

The Pastor Who Invited Me To Preach In His Church, Kidnapped Me || Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai

I was invited by a church in Aba. We went. They took me to their bedroom and kept my wife in their parlour. And they asked me to bring every money on me and the key to my car.

So, I told the pastor of the church; so you invited a guess speaker, locked him up, collect his money and the key to his car. I will give you the key when I hear God say surrender the key and the money to them and I will give it to you. But for now, I will not.

They said no problem. We'll give you a cup to drink from and you will hear God tell you to give us the key to your car and the money on you.

I said, "sure, bring the liquid(poison), let me drink". They brought me a liquid and I said to the liquid, ''thou liquid(poison), I drink you as tea and you must function as tea. If you go beyond the boundaries of tea, whatever God is going to do to you, don't call my name".

I raised the cup up and said, "thou cup, you are now tea.."

I watched them till it got to midnight. I said to them, "it's now my turn to demonstrate the power of the kingdom I represent. You have given me something and I have taken it.

They ran to my wife; madam... come come come, oga is angry, he wants to kill us.

My wife walked over to where I was and said, "you like trouble. They have open that gate, let us go".

Madam..who is causing trouble? Me or they? I came to preach for them, they lock me up, they want money, they want key. Who is the one breaking the law? Me or these people? She said, "na u sabi".

And they began to beg me.... I like when my enemy beg me for their life to be spared.

How many of you believe that you can drink poison and it will not kill you?

THE GODLINESS OF THE WEDDING MUST CONTINUE TO THE RECEPTION!

▪️STOP having worldly MCs, worldly dancing and worldly music with vulgarity.

▪️The godliness of the weddings must continue to the receptions as well.

▪️The master of ceremony controls your party more than you realise.

▪️Tell the marriage counsellor who is the MC. If church disapproves of the MC, there will be no wedding date approval.

▪️This will be so until Church approves of the MC.

▪️It must be a Christian reception.

▪️There must be moderation and no excesses in the dancing etc...

▪️It is stupid for the MC, to call for the bride and groom and ask them to kiss and stay kissing until he decides it's enough.

▪️Have respect for the guests, especially highly respected ones.

▪️If pastors are present, respect them.

▪️This will no longer be tolerated. We will only accept truly born again MCs and matured ones.
