Many guilty consciences have been created by the slave trade. Europeans know that they carried on the slave trade, and Africans are aware that the trade would have been impossible if certain Africans did not cooperate with the slave ships. To ease their guilty consciences, Europeans try to throw the major responsibility for the slave trade on to the Africans. One European author of a book on the slave trade (appropriately en titled Sins of Our Fathers) explained how many other white people urged him to state that the trade was the responsibility of African chiefs, and that Europeans merely turned up to buy the captives-as though without European demand there would have been captives sitting on the beach by the millions! Issues such as those are not the principal concern of this study, but they can be correctly approached only after understanding that Europe became the center of a world-wide system and that it was European capitalism which set slavery and the Atlantic slave trade in motion.

R**e, unlawful sexual activity, most often involving sexual in*******se, against the will of the victim through force or the threat of force or with an individual who is incapable of giving legal consent because of minor status, mental illness, mental deficiency, intoxication, unconsciousness, or deception.

Many ra**sts target people they feel will not tell, such as children or teens that may have mistakenly placed themselves in a risky situation such as using alcohol or drugs.

R**e is an evil act and should be kicked against in our society.

WOMAN KING VS JAGUNJAGUN

For anyone who understand Yoruba culture, you will realized that in Woman King, there's misinterpretations of Yoruba culture.

1. Absence of the use of voodoo or charms in war front.

2. Depicting Yoruba tribe as Fulani is off. Yoruba don't use turban at the time (and never in the history of Oyo Empire do we use turban like the fulanis). And I also expect tribal marks on the Yoruba villains to depict Yoruba cultural heritage.

3. The character, Oba, according to the story is a generalissimo of the Yorubas (Oyo Empire), which we call Are Ona Kakanfo. Imagine depicting Are Ona Kakanfo with dread, and in turban like a Fulani man, who major in sword fight and no voodoo. That's quite hilarious!.

4. There's a scene where The main character's friend (I've forgotten their names) consulted Ifa. No saying of Ifa Odu and divination which is very mandatory when consulting Ifa and also she didn't tell the woman king the kind of Odu that was revealed and its meaning (Hollywood dey whine me?).

The thing is, no matter how cinematic and professional Hollywood is, they can't tell African story like we can.

Almost everything, if not all is about competition. And this is the basic fundamental of all living things. In biology, it is widely believed that living things compete for Air, Water, Light, Space and Food. And this characteristics happened to be part of our genetic formation.

In the world we live, human compete for almost everything. We complete for new jobs, we compete for costumers, we compete for fans; followers on social media platforms. We compete over a lady to marry or a man to get married to. We compete in sport, we compete in technology and science. We compete over everything and not once have I seen a person refuse to attend a job interview because he wants his fellow man to get the job, nor do we deliberately leave a girl/man we wants for another person, nor do we deliberately failed an exam because we want someone to take the glory. No country ever deliberately chose to remain obsolete just to allow another country to take over in science and technology.

So, why should Chef Dammy and Hilda Baci be different?.
