The marriage between young Nigerian actress Regina Daniels and businessman Ned Nwoko still remains a huge debate among Nigerians on various social media platforms.

Humility

Humility is a feeling that is simultaneously conjunctive and disjunctive. This feeling is also part of our relationship with the world around us, and as such is not to be separated from our psyche. Human society would be impossible without a measure of humility and modesty to make us conscious of the need for co-operation.

Humility occurs whenever it seems that the value of one’s personal qualities is about to be questioned, or where one’s conscious self-esteem might be lost. This feeling is strongly communicated to the body, and results in the expansion of the peripheral capillaries. Congestion in the skin capillaries, or blushing, occurs, usually on the face, but there are some people who blush all over.

Humility can also be an attitude of withdrawal. It can become a gesture of self-isolation, bound up with slight depression, which amounts to a readiness to flee from a threatening situation. Downcast eyes and coyness are preparations for flight, revealing that humility, like other feelings, can be disjunctive if misused. Some people become embarrassed so easily that all their relationships with other people are spoilt by this disjunctive trait. Its value as a means of achieving isolation becomes obvious when it is exaggerated in this way.

Senate Rejects Motion To Release Nnamdi Kanu.

The Senate has rejected a motion to release from the detention the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

The motion which was moved by Senator Osita Izunaso (Imo West) sought to address the constant sit-at-home order enforced by unknown gunmen in the South-East.

The lawmaker, in the motion co-sponsored by other lawmakers from the South-East, noted that the senators were aware that thousands of innocent lives had been lost since the action started, and properties worth over a trillion had been destroyed resulting in investors leaving the region.

He said,

“The sit-at-home civil disobedience actions in the South-East have led to the disruption/destruction of economic activities and immeasurable financial losses for businesses, workers, and the local economy. Because, when people are forced to stay at home and businesses remain closed, productivity declines and income is reduced, affecting livelihoods and economic growth.

“The “sit-at-home” protests disrupt the education of students, leading to missed classes and delays in academic progress. And such prolonged disruptions have long-term effects on students’ learning outcomes and educational development; Disturbed that disruption of essential public services, such as healthcare, transportation, and waste disposal, continues to have a severe impact during “sit-at-home” protests which adversely affect the well-being and safety of the general population living in the South-East.”

IPOB had in August 2021 declared a sit-at-home order every Monday across the South-East to protest the continued detention of Kanu. The separatist group eventually suspended the order.

However, the leader of a faction of IPOB, Simon Ekpa, has continued to declare sit-at-home orders in the region despite the exercise being suspended by the IPOB faction led by Kanu.

Residents of the five South-East states: Enugu, Ebonyi, Imo, Abia and Anambra have constantly been killed, maimed and attacked by gunmen enforcing the civil order for stepping out on Mondays and other days in violation of the order.

She got angry and called the first number and her hubby's mom answered.

Then she called the second number and her hubby's elder sister answered.

When she dialed the third number her own phone rang.

She called the next one, it was their daughter's phone.

She called the next one and it was her own mother and then she called the last one it was hubby's junior sister's number.

She cried until her eyes got swollen because she had doubted her 'innocent' husband, so she gave him her whole month's salary to make up for it.

Husband took the money and bought this Suya in the picture to his girlfriend whose name was saved as " ”
