This woman in my office took a ₦5 million loan from the cooperative, and it was approved.

She called her church pastor and said;
“Daddy, God has done it, sir! That loan I told you about, I just received it. Please, sir, can you give me the church account number? I want to pay my tithe.”

She was smiling lavishly as she sent ₦500,000 as tithe from the loan money.

Ever since that day, I stopped talking to her, aside from exchanging normal greetings.

I woke up around 3 a.m. and noticed the compound gate was wide open.

I stepped outside and both security men were fast asleep.
One was sleeping inside the security house, the other was sleeping outside under the shade where they usually sit.

Mind you, there was a robbery beside our compound last month because burglars took advantage when these same guards slept and they cleared a shop of foodstuffs and provisions.
So, I quietly took the key beside the one sleeping outside, locked the gate from inside, and went back to my apartment.

They woke up around past 6 a.m. and I could hear them asking each other if any one saw or took the key.
The one outside can’t come in, the one inside can’t go out, both of them are looking for the key while my neighbors are asking them to open the gate.

Meanwhile, I’m just by my window watching them figure it out.😌
