PHOTOS: Tinubu Opens South-West Campaign Office

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, has opened the South-West office for his presidential campaign in Akure, Ondo State on Saturday.

The Ondo State APC shared photos from the event on their Twitter handle, stating that the opening of the office was done after Tinubu attended the presidential rally that held in the city.

The photos were captioned, “Asiwaju has inaugurated the APC Southwest Campaign office in Akure immediately after the presidential rally. Asiwaju Tinubu was led to the campaign office by Governor , SAN, CON."

PHOTOS: Lagos CP Visits Bolanle Raheem’s Residence

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, has visited the residence of late lawyer, Bolanle Raheem.

According to TheCable, Alabi arrived at the residence of the deceased located at the Ajah area of Lagos State, on Tuesday evening.

Speaking during the visit, the Lagos police commissioner assured the family that justice would be served.

“This person who did this won’t go unpunished,” TheCable quotes Alabi as saying.

Raheem was shot by a police officer on Christmas Day (Sunday).

Singer Jaywon cries out as thieves rob his hotel room in US

Nigerian artiste, Jaywon, has been robbed of his luggage and other items at his hotel in the United States of America.

Sharing a video via his Instagram page on Sunday, the singer said, he came back to his hotel room after a studio session to find his valuables missing.

He said, “Left my hotel today to the studio only to come back and I couldn’t find my luggage, my carry on bag with my laptop. My gold chain, clothes, shoes, slides are gone. Someone emptied my suite this wasn’t the Christmas.”

Policeman shoot dead Lagos lawyer Bolanle Raheem on Christmas Day

Trigger-happy Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) shoot dead a Lagos-based female lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, in the Ajah area of the state on Christmas Day.

The unnamed policeman attached to the Ajah Police Station and his team were said to have tried to stop Raheem and her family members as they drove back home from a Christmas Day church service.

Raheem, it was gathered, was shot when the car she was on tried to make a U-turn under the Ajah Bridge.

The victim was rushed to a hospital but was confirmed dead.

Vice president Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday paid a visit to the Abuja residence of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

Tinubu's running mate, Kashim Shettima, was present during the meeting.

Osinbajo's aide, Laolu Akande, who tweeted the photos captioned them, "Vice President Yemi Osinbajo stopped by for a friendly visit at the Abuja residence of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu just now."

PHOTOS: Slain BRT Passenger, Bamise Ayanwola, Buried

The body of Bamise Ayanwola, who was found dead after boarding a bus belonging to the Bus Rapid Transport scheme, in February, has been buried in Lagos on Friday.

She was buried at Atan Cemetery, Yaba.

Ayanwola went missing after boarding a bus at the Chevron area of Lekki on her way to Oshodi. Her body was found days later. A BRT driver, Andrew Ominnikoron, is facing counts of conspiracy, r**e and murder over Ayanwola’s killing.

Veteran gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele, has celebrated the 25th anniversary of surviving a car accident, which confined him to a wheelchair.

The singer shared photos from the accident on his Instagram page, expressing gratitude to God.

He wrote, “It’s exactly 25 years ago today… Just keep thanking God on my behalf... It Was on the 12th of December 1997. My Turning point...I shall forever be grateful to the owner of my destiny.”

Former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, leader of the Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, Ayo Adebanjo and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, on Sunday, visited the headquarters of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Enugu State.

The trio paid a condolence visit to the organisation over the death of a former minister, Mbazulike Amaechi, in November.

Obi, who shared photos from the visit said, "I joined President Obasanjo and Pa Ayo Adebanjo at the Ohanaeze Headquarters in Enugu to sign the condolence register for late Chief Mbazulike Amaechi. The team was received by Chief Ogene Okeke. - PO."

Amaechi had led a delegation of prominent Igbo leaders to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) to request the release of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

Portable welcomes fourth child with third ‘baby mama’

Fast-rising and street-hop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable has welcomed his fourth child with third ‘baby mama’.

The 27-year-old Sango Ota-based singer shared a picture of his baby mama’s bump and a video of the newborn on his Instagram page.

The Zazu crooner said the birth of the baby was a double celebration for him as the day marked his first anniversary in the music industry.

Recall that Portable rose to fame and marked his entrance into the spotlight on December 10, 2021, after Poco Lee introduced him to Olamide which brought about the collabo for his hit single, “Zazzu Zeh”.

The leader of the Zeh nation movement revealed the child’s name as Akorede Omolalomi Badmus.

“Thank u lord for the Gift of Life. Akorede Omolalomi Badmus. It’s a new bouncing baby boy. Congrats to myself and the mother Iyawo IKA. December 10th de day real fame came & same Dec 10th I welcomed a new baby boi. God no dey disappoint,” Portable wrote.
