We can choose to believe.
Even if we haven’t seen firsthand!
How many people actually met or saw Jesus Christ during His lifetime or post-mortal visits? That number would be a tiny fraction of the billions of people who have ever lived on earth. So what an incredibly rare experience for these Nephites to be able to meet and see the Savior! Jesus said that people like us—who haven’t met Him yet on this earth—will be blessed when we choose believe in the testimonies of these witnesses. “Yea, blessed are they who shall believe in your words” (3 Nephi 12:2).
There is purpose in NOT seeing before we believe. It helps us learn faith and faith opens the door to growth. Today, let’s choose to believe!
