Tinubu’s 2027 support base grows as Galadima claims ‘34 and a half’ governors back him against Obi, Atiku

Buba Galadima, a chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has claimed that “34 and a half” state governors are backing President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term in office.

Galadima made the claim while speaking at the inauguration of the NDC National Reconciliation Committee, where he discussed the political alignments taking shape ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Ghanaian court jails two Nigerians for human trafficking, fake job promises

Two Nigerian citizens have been sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment each by a Ghanaian court after they were convicted of trafficking fellow Nigerians into Ghana with fake job promises and forcing them into cybercrime.

The convicts, Kingsley Ndifon (29) and Emmanuel Akong (25), were found guilty of human trafficking and causing harm by Circuit Court ‘B’ in Tema following a full trial.

According to Premium Times, investigation records reportedly filed as part of the prosecution’s evidence in ongoing coup-related trials alleged that Amandi was assigned to coordinate propaganda, social media messaging and public celebrations in the region if the planned takeover succeeded.
