Mixed reactions as Lagos State Govt renames Charley Boy bus stop in Bariga to Badoo bus stop, video goes viral (Watch)

Ilaje Road is now King Sunny Ade Road, in honour of the legendary Juju musician.

Community Road, Akoka is renamed Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu Road, after the current Lagos State Governor.

Ajidagan Street becomes Olamide Adedeji (Baddo) Street, recognizing the YBNL boss and proud Bariga native.

Charly Boy Bus Stop is now Badoo Bus Stop, also in honour of Olamide.

Ifeanyi Street is renamed Abolore Akande (9ice) Street, paying tribute to the singer and son of Bariga.

Ayodele Street, Ladi-Lak now bears the name Tony Tetuila Street, celebrating the veteran Afro-pop artist.

Ilojo Crescent, Obanikoro is now known as Bukayo Saka Street, in recognition of the England and Arsenal football star of Nigerian descent.

I am no longer the manager of singer Omah Lay - Talent manager Muyiwa Awoniyi, gives reasons

Muyiwa Awoniyi tweeted; “With love and respect, I am no longer managing Omah Lay. That’s my brother and I wish him all the best in his endeavours for life!”

Barely an hour after he made the post, Omah Lay’s label mate and collaborator, Kaestyle, posted a cryptic message, writing; “Dem sack you, you say I’m no longer… lol always quick to go on social media.”

Responding, Taiwo Awoniyi claimed he stepped down as Omah Lay’s manager after securing his freedom from the deal, adding that Kaestyle is still “a slave” under the label.

He wrote, “I agreed to manage Omah to get him out of the very slave deal that you signed. Now he is out, I also am out. You on the other hand are a slave.”
