WHAT MAKES A WINNER AT THE ACCESSIBLE SUMMER COMPETITION? KNOWLEDGE AND INTEGRITY.
The Accessible Summer Competition was a huge success, and we are proud of every student who showed up, put their knowledge to the test and gave it their best. 🏆
To ensure that every participant had a fair chance, the selection of our Top 50 winners followed a strict verification process.
Your score matters, but so does the integrity of your attempt.
Every top-performing entry was reviewed to ensure that the participant followed the competition rules communicated before and during the examination.
This included checks for possible irregularities such as:
* Switching tabs during the examination
* Leaving full-screen mode
* Failure to grant required camera access
* Receiving assistance from another person
* Having another person appear in the camera frame
* Using unauthorised materials or external resources
* Unusual activity detected during the examination
* Any other violation of the stated competition guidelines
As a result, a high score alone did not guarantee a place among the Top 50.
This was intentional.
We want to reward knowledge, preparation and honesty — not simply the highest numbers on a scoreboard.
To further strengthen the credibility of the process, we had representatives of the Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC), present as part of the verification process to support a fair and transparent selection.
Our goal was simple: Give everyone a fair opportunity. Apply the same standards. Reward genuine performance.
