While we await full stability of the CAC portal, please note a major update affecting Business Name registration.

The Nature of Business for Business Name is now generic and pre-selected. This means you can no longer type in a specific description for Business Name as before.

From now on:

1 You are required to select the Nature of Business at the Name Reservation stage.

2 This selected option will be what appears on the final CAC certificate.

3 Please inform your clients upfront that they must choose from the available options and that no custom descriptions will be accepted.

Kindly make use of the approved list of options to guide your clients and ensure transparency.
