McDonaldslens was present, as the boss honoured an invitation from the Theatre and Media Arts Department, Ekiti State University for the presentation of AJAGUNMALE stage performance by the 400level students. The theatre and stage was absolutely awesome, as the boss met with several VIPs, performing students and special casts, one of which is THE LITTLE CAST, as shown in one of the attached still pictures.

We shall bring to your viewing pleasures gists and moments of happenings at the event, with KUTELU performances up next, followed bumper-to-bumper by the International Theatre Festival.

Diogo Jota's funeral was held at the Mother Church of Gondomar, outskirts of Porto, on July 5, 2025 to commit his remains to mother earth.

Some heartbreaking images emerged of his emotional wife, Rute Cardoso, and parents, as former teammates carried the coffin during the funerals of the late Liverpool's Portuguese forward and his brother Andre Silva.

Jota and his brother, Andre Silva, both died in the wreck, which occurred in a Lamborghini along a Spanish highway. Spanish police indicated to that they believe the brothers blew a tire while driving, causing the car to crash and taking their lives at the scene.

It's not clear which brother was driving though, but gathered that speed is being investigated as a possible factor for the crash, although that has not yet been determined.

His wife, Cardoso and Jota both posted a wedding video to their Instagram pages after they were married on June 22. They also expressed their love for each other in posts of their wedding photos.

Jota posted a photo showing him standing with his new wife on their wedding day. He wrote on Instagram, "June 22, 2025. Yes to forever♾️" Cardoso posted a photo showing her in her wedding gown and, now tragically, wrote, "My dream came true 🤍"

According to the Record, Jota and his new wife also attended a wedding together over the last weekend, before Jota was headed back to the UK on road, because an injury had necessitated that he must travel by road instead of flying.

The funeral occurred in Portugal, and Photos also showed Maria Rodrigues, the wife of Jota's deceased brother Andre Silva, crying behind his casket at the funeral.

Adieu!!! Diogo Jota - Signed by Liverpool in 2020, given jersey shirt number 20 and helped them win their 20th English Football Title.

The cause of the accident that killed Diogo Jota and his brother was a blown tire on their Lamborghini.

According to BBC Sport, Jota and his brother were driving at very high speed. During an overtaking maneuver, one of the tires burst, causing the Lamborghini to veer off the road, flip over, and catch fire.

The victims were unable to escape the vehicle, and the car burned completely. Their identities were confirmed only through the car’s license plate.
