I have stared long at these beautiful photos and I have kept saying to myself in wonder, “What a blessing you are!”

I could be drowned in a million thoughts of you being an absolute blessing.

15 years of knowing you and boy do you still stun me!

Your beauty, your intelligence, your wisdom, your self-awareness and carriage, your humility, your fervency in prayer and plaque-worthy motherhood. You hold it all down, and it mesmerizes me!

And then I wonder,

What a blessed man I am!

To have you, to hold you and to call you mine.

I am so blessed!

You are a validation of God’s love to me.

You are My Peace, My Safe Place. My Home.

What a blessing you are!

And what a blessed man I am!

This birthday, I ain’t saying much.

I just want to ponder on the blessedness of having you and thank God for it.

May your light shine so bright.

May your joy know no bound!

Hey Baby,

Let me begin here: I saw me wearing a pair of pink socks with my suit in these videos and it made me laugh at myself. 😂 Steeze that year wasn’t very ‘Steezing’.

Anyway, I wanted to tell you I would wear a pair of pink socks to kneel again and ask you to marry me.

It’s been absolutely amazing with you!

How you keep it all together, keep it all on your mind and execute it all without distractions is a mystery I will never unravel.

You are my peace. You are my solitude. You are my ginger! You are my motivation. You are my whole world, and I could never imagine my world without you in it.

I still enjoy helping you wear your shoes, getting the doors for you, being your photographer 😂, gisting exhaustively with you, applying your cream to your legs 😎, making your breakfast, threatening you to get you to use your meds when you’re sick, spending the night with you in bed and fooling with you all the time.

You get it, even when it doesn’t make sense and i love you for it.

Thank you for 8 Years of beauty.

I remember being a shadow of myself this time last year

I remember being disappointed, broken and mentally disturbed

I recall being traumatized and stormed by the sudden passing of my ma-in-law and how it broke my beloved wife.

I remember a downturn in business that resulted to a scrapper’s pile of debt

I remember feeling deserted by my friends and finding myself sat at a buffet of breakfast, served by my allies.

I remember hating life, hating people and occasionally entertaining the thoughts of death.

I recall being lost in thoughts one morning while driving, to the point I went blank, lost sight of everything and ramped my Audi Q5 into a truck.

Enough awful remembering…

In the midst of all that evil, I also recall finding this beamer of hope in the gloom of that season.

I remember knowing that God was with me, that I wasn’t alone, in spite of how I felt.

I recall having a reliable community of believers who prayed with and for me;

Who also encouraged and blessed us with their resources.

I recall .krieton going out of her way to pull me out of my shell to a surprise dinner with respectable friends on my last birthday, which in turn lifted my spirit.

I remember trusting God, believing in His Word and reshaping things in prayer, as I stood in authority.

I remember today that, that past year, in spite of its gallops and funny surprises and attacks of the enemy, was a good year. 😁

That God took care of me and my family.

I have seen things turnaround for my good. I have seen God bless me where I least thought possible.

For these, I am immensely thankful.

Here’s cheers 🥂 to a year, in which I stand tough and strong, unbroken, unmoved against all that will be thrown at me.

And cheers to prospering again! 🥂
