We’re delighted to celebrate Rev. Dr. Jan H. Boer and Frances A. Boer on receiving the Distinguished Award from the Christian Reformed Church of Nigeria (CRCN) in recognition of their missionary work, their love for humanity, and the lasting impact they made on CRCN students and the wider church.

For 30 years, Jan and Frances served in Nigeria, from Wukari and Baissa to Jos, giving themselves to their faith, their work and the communities they became part of.

Their memoir, Every Square Inch: A Nigerian Missionary Memoir, offers a glimpse into that remarkable journey and the experiences, lessons and people that shaped their years in Nigeria.

Congratulations, Rev. Dr. Jan and Frances!
We’re honoured to have published your story.

Every Square Inch is available nationwide. Or send us a DM to order your copy.

One of his most significant works, Witness to Justice: An Insider’s Account of Nigeria’s Truth Commission, offers a powerful account of his experience on the Oputa Panel and the stories of human rights violations that emerged from its hearings.

Somewhere between the laughter, the stories and the recipes, Atinúké Aliu-Edomobi reminds us that the best meals are rarely about expensive ingredients.

Happy Publication Day to WHEN PIGS FLY — The Writings of Tunji Lardner 🎉

Nigeria was changing. Tunji Lardner was there to document it.

Across five years, from 1982 to 1987, Tunji Lardner captured Nigeria as it was, its politics, media, arts and culture, sports, economics, law, technology, and the everyday experiences of a country constantly evolving.

When Pigs Fly brings together over 100 of his writings, offering readers a rare opportunity to look back at the moments that shaped a nation and discover just how much of that story still speaks to us today.

The years may have passed, but the observations remain remarkably relevant.

When Pigs Fly is now available in major bookstores nationwide.
