VeryDarkMan has announced the rescue of a baby who was allegedly stolen at birth and sold for โฆ4.5 million.
According to him, the babyโs mother reported the case to his office, on April 25, 2026. He said he immediately took her to the Special Tactical Squad (STS) Police Station in Guzape, Abuja, where the matter was presented to the Commander of STS, ACP Victor.
VeryDarkMan said ACP Victor personally handled the case and helped secure approval for an investigation from the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Force Intelligence Department (DIG FID).
He explained that STS operatives travelled to Imo State on April 26 and arrested a suspect linked to the alleged baby trafficking. The suspect was later moved to Abuja for further investigation.
According to him, the suspect allegedly confessed that a lawyer paid โฆ4.5 million for the baby. Police operatives then tracked the lawyer to Lagos State, where the baby was rescued.
The suspects and the rescued baby have now been brought back to Abuja, while authorities prepare for the proper handover of the child to the biological mother.
Two days earlier, VeryDarkMan had shared a video of the childโs mother, identified as Chioma, explaining how the incident happened.
Chioma said she sells n**e videos online for between โฆ2,000 and โฆ5,000 to support her eight-year-old son because her husband could not fully provide for the family.
She said she travelled within Lagos to care for her sick mother before her motherโs friend, identified as Chinelo, invited her to Aba.
According to Chioma, Chinelo introduced her to a supposed surrogacy arrangement worth โฆ2 million, but the plan later changed and she became pregnant after a sexual relationship with the man involved.
She claimed a nurse identified as Agatha assisted during delivery, after which she was paid โฆ720,000 in cash.
Chioma said she later returned to Lagos and told her husband the money came from a friend abroad.๐
