Last week, I had the privilege of hosting two influential voices in the agricultural sector in my office.

On Monday, I welcomed Afeez Olumide Garuba, founder of Voice of the Farmers, an agric-media startup amplifying farmers' experiences. We first met in 2015 when he was an undergraduate, but we stayed connected, sharing ideas and support. On Agbelere, we discussed his journey and how young people can use technology to earn in agriculture.

Later in the week, Mr Akande Akin Sanyaolu stopped by after appearing on the Crest Breakfast Show with Janet Mark-Ayangbemi and Damilola Amoo to discuss Curbing the Menace of Herdsmen Attacks in Oyo state, where he shared some valuable insights and personal experiences on the topic. This was our first face-to-face meeting, though we have been Facebook friends since 2019 when he contested to be Oyo State Governor. Beyond politics, he is a passionate advocate for agriculture and rural development.

One key lesson from these encounters is that relationships truly matter. Staying in touch, exchanging ideas, and supporting one another can lead to unexpected opportunities and collaborations. In agriculture and beyond, progress happens when passionate minds come together to drive change.

Ìbà Elédùmarè!

What a great moment it was yesterday at L'eola Hotel, Maryland Estate, Lagos. I was officially inducted into the advertising profession with several other advertising professionals after nearly two years of intensive professional training with the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON).

This journey has been challenging yet incredibly rewarding, and I am beyond excited to take media marketing and advertising to the next level!

I am proud to have earned my Professional Diploma in Advertising and received my certificate as a registered advertising practitioner.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has played a role in making this happen—especially my beautiful partner, Àdùkẹ́ mi ọ̀wọ́n, for your unwavering support, and my ọ̀gá, , for your mentorship and standing by me throughout the event. And a big thank you to Mr. Godday Igho for being such a kind and inspiring boss. God bless you all!

Now, it's time to get to work and create impactful strategies! Let's make waves in the world of media and advertising!

Today marked a significant step for the Farm for Charity Initiative as we commenced the harvest of Úgú leaves from our dedicated farm. This harvest holds a special purpose: to extend a helping hand to the children at Dorian Home along Idanre road and other vulnerable people by providing them with this nutritious vegetable leaves.

We owe a debt of gratitude to our generous donors and the entire team at Farm for Charity Initiative. Our technical partner, the Ondo State Agricultural Commodities' Association, has been instrumental in making this vision a reality.

Special appreciation goes to Mr. Adeolu Gboyega, Chief Operating Officer of Crest FM Nigeria and Mr. Godday Igho, Head of Station, Crest FM Akure for their unwavering guidance and support.
