Radio IITA joined School in Ibadan, Southwest Nigeria, for their 2025 Farmers’ Day celebration, a day filled with smile, curiosity, and appreciation for the heroes who feed our nation.

Dajie Abang-Odok, Radio Lead, inspired the pupils with a fun and interactive session on the importance of agriculture and how young people can contribute to the food system as scientists, technologists, agripreneurs, and innovators.

From “Where does chocolate come from?” to “What can drones do on farms?”, the children eagerly explored how modern farming combines science, technology, and creativity.

When we celebrate farmers, we celebrate life!
Thank you, Cedarville School, for honoring our heroes, our farmers.
