Most popular smartphones – Smartphones now rule the roost for obvious reasons, they minimize your work by every which means and keep you connected to the world. Push notifications are your saving grace when you are out and about your daily schedule and have little time to spare to know the happenings around the world or keep track of your social media accounts, that is to say.

The market has been inundated with a series of smartphones but our brand loyalty towards Apple and Samsung eclipses our vision sometimes. There are many potential counterparts of the aforementioned ones that go unnoticed by the Apple enthusiasts and here are the names:

Most popular smartphones –

iPhone X:

Our above statement may look contradictory to you as we are mentioning Apple’s potency here, but is needs a special mention for having emerged as the highest-selling smartphone of the year 2018 in just the matter of three months. It is also believed to be the most profitable smartphone in the world now which fetched 35% total handset profits to the company.

HTC U12+
This is HTC flagship phone 2018 which comes with high specs and one of the best cameras around.. Has four cameras in total and it's been tested and proven to snap better pictures than even the iPhone X. The Taiwanese company is also releasing only this phone as flagship for this year after most of his engineers are already partnered with google on other projects. The phone is really good but the sales are low for now as HTC is Harley selling to any reseller. Mostly direct sale.

iPhone 8:

This stands next after iPhone X in the highest selling smartphones of 2018 that garnered humungous profit in the first 3 months. This is opted for by many as being one of the cheapest of the Apple reservoir. Also, iPhone X receives a neck-to-neck competition from iPhone 8 in the US, no matter if they belong from the same house.

iPhone 8 Plus:

This is the next big screen alternate of iPhone 8 embedded with the same features and some more. This generated a skyrocketing profit in the last few months which is numerically 15.2% of the total smartphone industry.

Apple iPhone 7:

This belongs to the 2016’s line-up from the Cupertino based tech giant which carved a niche in the market lately and became the fourth-most selling smartphone in the first quarter of 2018. It holds the 6.2% of whole industry profit, now that’s really impressive.

Xiaomi Red Mi 5A:

It broke past Apple’s record to secure the fifth position in the highest selling smartphones of the world list. In just the matter of three months from being introduced, it was lauded by the audience at large and became pretty popular across the countries like India and China.

Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus:

Samsung has a stronghold over the market and it is not going to relinquish the position anytime soon in view of the cutting-edge technology having being introduced constantly. This phone ranks the sixth in the list of highest selling smartphones of the world and the flagbearer of the growth parameter is Galaxy S9.

These are Most popular smartphones across the world – These six smartphones will lacerate at your pocket by some degree but they will be completely worth your while for providing the best technology and value for money. The durability is not a concern if you invest in these phones and software problems too are pretty less as compared to their other cheaper counterparts. Many of us steer clear from Apple as being complicated but all you need is to get the proper hang of it.

An Android vendor you hardly know just launched an all-screen, no-notch iPhone X rival

We’ve seen a bunch of new Android smartphones emerging from China in the past couple of weeks, both promising to offer users all-screen designs without copying Apple’s all-screen iPhone X. The Lenovo Z5 was a huge disappointment, as it featured exactly the kind of iPhone X clone we saw from many other Android vendors. Then came the Vivo Nex, which did not feature a notch, but the phone wasn’t exactly bezel-less — to be fair, Apple’s all-screen has a bezel of its own, the notch.

Fast-forward to today, and we have a new no-notch Android phone for you from China. This one also comes from a vendor not many people are familiar with. But at least Oppo did not promise us a bezelless smartphone.

The Find X, which should be unveiled at 2:45 PM Louvre, Paris, France time, is somehow already official, because The Verge already has all the dirt on it.

The handset has a screen to body ratio of 92.25% which is indeed impressive. That also means you get a bottom chin.

Just as teased, the handset doesn’t have an iPhone X notch. Instead, Oppo went for a slide-out mechanism to move up the cameras when you need to take pictures. All the cameras, both the front-facing ones — as in multiple cams, because this bad boy does 3D face recognition too — and the rear ones. The Verge explains it best:

"The most interesting aspect of the Find X’s design is its camera system, which is completely hidden when the phone is off or the camera app is closed. When you turn the Find X on and open the camera app, the entire top section of the phone motorizes up and reveals a 25-megapixel front-facing camera, 3D facial scanning system, and 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual rear camera. Close the camera app and the whole assembly motors back into the phone’s chassis. Oppo says the camera can open in just 0.5 seconds, and based on my experience, that seems fairly accurate."

It’s a similar approach to Vivo’s Nex, but Oppo takes it to a whole new level. And Oppo’s slide-up cam looks more durable, and more sophisticated.

Speaking of that 3D facial scanner, Oppo did copy Apple when it comes to fingerprint sensors. As in, there isn’t one on the phone. The unlock process, however, seems more complex on paper, as it involves swiping up on the screen, waiting for the camera to slide out and then to unlock. In real life it’s “fast enough that it doesn’t feel like it will impede use of the device in my day-to-day.”

The phone features a 6.4-inch display that’s about as large as the Galaxy Note 9’s rumored screen, and just slightly smaller than the upcoming iPhone X Plus’s display. The comparison to Samsung phones is apt in this case, as the phone apparently looks like a Galaxy S9+.

The specs sheet will not surprise you. We’re looking at a Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, 3,730 mAh camera with VOOC fast-charging, and Android 8.1 Oreo running the show, with Color OS on top.

The price? We have no idea, but the phone is supposed to be Oppo’s first device to launch in North America and Europe. The Find X will be available for preorder in China on Tuesday and should call less than similar Android phones

SAMSUNG S8 rumours for 2017.

Taking a look back at seven days of news and headlines across the world of Android, this week’s Android Circuit includes the launch date of the Galaxy S8, Samsung's new beast mode, leaks of the new Nokia Android smartphone, problems with the Pixel, new smartwatches from Google, reviews of the OnePlus 3T and the Moto Z, and the best apps for Google Daydream.

Android Circuit is here to remind you of a few of the many things that have happened around Android in the last week (and you can find the weekly Apple news digest here).

Galaxy S8 Date Changes
The Galaxy S8 is coming - Samsung has already confirmed that fact in a bid to shore up consumer confidence after the Note 7 debacle - but the S8 might be coming a bit later than you think. The traditional reveal at Mobile World Congress is reportedly being replaced with a date in April... and that's a good thing:
Read my thoughts on the date change here.

Samsung's New Beast Mode

One curious new feature for the Galaxy may have is ' Beast Mode'. Uncovered in a trademark application, the suggestion is that Samsung is going to leverage the greater processing power, graphical ability and increased memory of the handset with a performance the exact opposite of the 'battery saver' modes currently available in Android:
Beast Mode details can be found here on Forbes .

Taking Two Nokia Smartphones Into 2017?

November saw Finnish company HMD confirm the return of the Nokia name to the smartphone market in the first half of 2017. This week saw some details on the handset leak out (Qualcomm's SnapDragon 835 and a Carl Zeiss lens were two highlights).
But the new Nokia may not be limited to a single handset:
More thoughts on HMD's approach here on Forbes .

Tapping The Pixel

Early in December Google updated its Pixel smartphones to run Android 7.1.1. One feature added as part of the update was the 'double-tap to wake' screen input. Given the fingerprint sensor on the smartphone is to the rear, this made the Pixel and Pixel XL much easier to use... when the feature works. Abner Li reports on the inconsistent issue:

9to5Google has more.
The reported delay is not only to allow for the battery issues with the Note 7 to be fully resolved, but also to allow the marketing teams to build up increased levels of consumer confidence in the flagship handset...
The push back to April also gives Samsung a different tactical angle to take with its press launch. Even if Apple does not release the equivalent of an iPhone SE 2, the Galaxy S8 launch will come a few weeks after all of Samsung's Android-powered rivals will have shown off the handsets at Mobile World Congress. Samsung's press launch will be in the enviable position of making the last move with this generation of handsets.

Android users are becoming used to different modes that have a bearing on their smartphone's power. The latest version of Android comes with a 'performance mode', users are becoming more familiar with the battery saver mode, and other manufacturers have added their own modes to the basic Android OS - Sony's stamina mode springs to mind.
Not only would Beast Mode allow Samsung to promote the high specifications on the Galaxy S8 (which will potentially be the highest-specced mainstream smartphone when it is launched), it would also represent Samsung's return to the cutting edge of smartphone technology. As for the imagery of a beast, it would emphasis the fighting spirit that will allow the South Korean company to overcome the Note 7 debacl

NOKIA to release new great Android phones in 2017.

Next year, the Nokia brand will return to the smartphone world thanks to HMD. The latter bought the rights to use the Nokia name on handsets, and in 2017 it plans to roll out flagship and mid-range models powered by Android. Just the other day, we showed you the front and back of what is supposed to be a Nokia P flagship model . This will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset, contain 6GB of RAM, and feature a 23MP Zeiss lens on the back of the phone.
As we said, besides the top shelf Nokia P, we also expect a mid-range model to be wearing the Nokia brand name. A photo that claims to be showing the front of this device surfaced this morning, wearing a 5.2-inch display. Both the Nokia P and this mid-range phone could end up being displayed in Barcelona during MWC 2017.
Of course, there is the possibility that this picture has nothing to do with the upcoming new Android powered Nokia models, which means that you should take this story and the accompanying image with a grain of salt.

WHATSAPP TO BE MADE AVAILABLE FOR WINDOWS PC AND MAC

FACEBOOK-OWNED MESSAGING SERVICE WhatsApp has released a desktop app for OS X and Windows.
Just as expected, WhatsApp announced a native desktop app for devices running Windows 8+ and Mac OS 10.9 and above.
"Today we're introducing a desktop app so you have a new way to stay in touch anytime and anywhere - whether on your phone or computer at home or work," WhatsApp said in a blog post.
Before you get too excited, don't. WhatsApp's new app is nearly identical to the browser-based WhatsApp Web client, and simply mirrors conversations and messages from mobile devices, which means you'll need your smartphone nearby in order to use it.
However, as the app runs natively on the desktop, there's the added bonus of desktop notifications and better keyboard shortcuts.
The WhatsApp desktop apps, just like the Web client, require you to scan a QR code using the app on the smartphone. Once you've installed the latest version of WhatsApp, head to Settings > WhatsApp Web > Scan QR Code.
WhatsApp's desktop app is available to download now at the firm's website . We were able to download without problems on a MacBook, but some have reported that the download site times out when trying to install the app on Windows.
WhatsApp's hasn't only been working on a desktop app, according to rumours. Leaked screenshots suggest that the firm plans to roll out a new video-calling feature to the Android and iOS apps.
These screenshots come courtesy of PhoneRadar and show a beta version of WhatsApp's mobile app with a Facebook Messenger-style camera icon in the top right corner of the chat window.
It also shows a new Video Call option in WhatsApp's list of connectivity options.

IPHONE 7 RELEASE DATE, SPECS AND PRICE.

APPLE'S NEXT FLAGSHIP SMARTPHONE, widely expected to arrive as the iPhone 7, is expected to make its debut in September, following the March unveiling of the iPhone SE .
The iPhone 6S arrived last year as Apple's incremental 'S' release, which means the iPhone 7, along with the iPhone 7 Plus no doubt, is expected to bring radical updates to the firm's smartphone line-up.
We've rounded up everything we know about the iPhone 7 so far, and will update this article whenever we hear more.
Release date
The iPhone 6S was unveiled on 9 September, and it's likely that the iPhone 7 will see a similar launch date next year. We're going to put our money on 7 September 2016. You heard it here first .
Apple's iPhones typically go up for pre-order a few days after they are announced, with an in-store release taking place two weeks later.
Price
Apple has kept prices stagnant for its past two iPhone releases, so if this continues the iPhone 7 will start at £539 going up to £699 for the 128GB model.
Specs and rumours
If history is anything to go by, Apple's next iPhone likely will feature a radical redesign, like the iPhone 6 was to the
iPhone 5S .
The first 'leaked' picture of the iPhone 7 has reportedly leaked (below ), however, shows that the new design won't be as radical as many were expecting. Analysts, too, are expecting an incremental update , and don't think the iPhone 7 will be able to give Apple's smartphone business the boost it's after, although Tim Cook claims we won't be able to live without it.
The image shows that it will feature the same shape and a very similar overall design to the iPhone 6S before it, albeit ridding of the unsightly plastic antenna lines and rear-facing camera hump.
However, a newer leak out of Macotakara allegedly shows off the plus-sized model (below ), the iPhone 7 Plus, with a protruding camera lens on its backside, alongside an iPad Pro-style Smart Connector that could be used to accommodate a Smart Keyboard add-on .
This leak adds further weight to the rumours that the iPhone 7 will feature a design largely similar to the iPhone 6S before it.
MacRumours has created a render (below ) of what it expects to the handset to look at, and it looks a lot like the leaked images above.
While the iPhone 7 won't look much different to its predecessor, there's talk that the handset will be tougher than before.
Chinese media is reporting that the next iPhone will have a strengthened and waterproof frame, and has been backed by a report from TrendForce which claims that Apple will kit out the iPhone 7 with "hardware innovations" such as water resistance. TrendForce also said in its report that the next iPhone will ship with 3GB RAM.
The next iPhone is expected to be thinner than the iPhone 6S, which could be made possible by ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack port.
A report from Fast Company , and previous reports from
Macotakara , suggested that the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack from its upcoming iPhone 7 will see the handset support only wireless or Lightning-compatible headphones. Apple reportedly won't offer Lightning-enabled EarPods with the next-generation iPhone, instead opting to sell a pair of noise-cancelling Lightning headphones separately.
With the headphone jack gone, there's talk that Apple will fill the extra space with an additional speaker, equipping the iPhone 7 with stereo sound .
Don't get your hopes up, though as a new leak out of
MyDrivers claims to show the circuitry for the iPhone 7 and, according to people in the know, this includes components for supporting a 3.5mm headphone port.
Apple is expected to launch two versions of its next smartphone: the 4.7in iPhone 7 and 5.5in iPhone 7 Plus.
The display on Apple's next smartphone might be the first on an iPhone to use Samsung's OLED screen technology, according to Korean website ETNews , which should offer a boost in vibrancy and power efficiency. However, this is unlikely, with newer reports pointing to OLED debuting on 2017's iPhone 7S , which will also reportedly feature an iPhone 4-esque glass design and alongside built-in iris-scanning technology .
There's the usual chatter that the iPhone 7 will feature a higher screen resolution, but no specifics have yet leaked. Thanks to the inclusion of 3D Touch, though, the next iPhone could be the first to come without a physical home button.
On the inside, the iPhone 7 could be the first iPhone to pack Intel chips, according to reports claiming that Intel has a 1,000-strong team working to ensure that the 7360 LTE modem chip makes its way into the iPhone 7, ousting the Qualcomm 9X45 LTE chip used in the iPhone 6S.
We don't yet know much about the iPhone 7's camera set-up, but speculation points to the iPhone 7 Plus seeing a bigger upgrade in the photography department. According to KGI, via 9to5Mac , the 5.5in handset will feature a dual rear camera, using Linx Imaging algorithms to combine the photo data into final images. The snapper is also tipped to feature a 3x optical zoom, optical image stabilisation and a wide field of view.
Rumours point to Apple phasing out the 16GB version of the smartphone with the arrival of the iPhone 7, despite speculation that the shift was to happen with the iPhone 6S.
Wireless charging is unlikely to make a debut, though, with rumours pointing to this debuting on 2017's iPhone 7S .
The iPhone 7, once available, likely will be offered in the same colour options as the iPhone 6S: Silver, Gold, Space Grey and Rose Gold.
We're also going to go out on a limb and assume that the iPhone 7 will ship with Apple's yet to be announced iOS 10 operating system, which will likely be announced during the firm's WWDC keynote on 13 June .

Also note that prices are in dollars due to the instability of the naira.

HTC M10 FINALLY LAUNCHED.

THE HTC M10 is finally official, following months worth of speculation and rumours surrounding the One M9 successor.
The smartphone sets its sights firmly on the likes of the Huawei P9 and Galaxy S7 with its premium design and 'market-leading' camera set up, and HTC is no doubt hoping that the handset will boost its fledgling position in the smartphone market.
We've rounded up everything you need to know about picking up the HTC 10. If you're still unsure, check out our HTC 10 hands-on review.
Release date
According to HTC's listing on its website, the HTC 10 is now in stock.
While HTC says that the handset has started shipping, Carphone Warehouse and Three are both listing that orders will be dispatched on 6 May.
Price
HTC has started taking pre-orders for the smartphone. It's only offering the 32GB HTC 10 model at present , and has slapped that with a £569 SIM-free price tag.
Carphone Warehouse has also opened up orders, and is offering the HTC 10 on tariffs with EE, O2, Vodafone and its own iD network. Pricing starts at £40 per month, a 24 month Vodafone contract that comes with unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 2GB monthly data.
Three became the first operator to start taking pre-orders on its own website . All tariffs come with a £49 upfront cost for the phone, and the cheapest monthly option comes in £38 per month. This comes with unlimited texts and minutes and 1GB data each month.
EE followed suit, and is offering the HTC 10 at its online store now. The operator's recommended tariff comes in at £50.99 per month with a £9.99 upfront cost, and comes with 4GB data each month.
Tesco Mobile has yet to start taking orders, but has told us how much it'll cost. The HTC 10 will be available for free from £35.50 per month with 1,000 minutes, 5,000 texts and 1GB data.
O2 has confirmed to the INQUIRER that it has no plans to offer the HTC 10.
Specs
Much like the Huawei P9 , the HTC 10's camera set-up is touted as the big selling point. The handset has only one rear-facing camera, compared with the P9's dual Leica-certified set-up, but HTC claimed that the 12MP 1.55um UltraPixel camera, which features the "world's first optically stabilised, larger aperture f/1.8 lens", is the best quality on the market with a DxOMark score of 88.
The camera shoots 4K video and features the world’s first stereo 24-bit Hi-Res audio recording, capturing 256 times more detail than standard recordings. This is paired with HTC's new and improved HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition speakers.
There's a 5MP optically-stablised f/1.8 camera on the front of the HTC 10 with an iPhone-style 'screen flash' for illuminating your duck-face when taking selfies.
Like its HTC One M9 predecessor, the HTC 10 features a unibody metal design with chamfered edges making it just 3mm thick at its skinniest point. There's a fingerprint sensor, which HTC claims unlocks in 0.2 seconds, a USB Type-C port on the bottom, and a 5.2in 2560x1440 Super LCD screen. HTC claimed that the display is 30 per cent brighter and 50 per cent more responsive than on last year's model.
It's also tougher, according to HTC, which said that the phone is as tough as the Galaxy S7 , having been subjected to 168 hours of extreme temperature tests ranging from -20C to 60C, plus over 10,000 drop, bend, scratch and corrosion tests.
The smartphone uses a Snapdragon 820 processor, despite analysts blaming lacklustre sales of last year's model on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chip. This new, and not-so-hot chip comes with Boost+, a feature which HTC claims will make the phone faster.
For example, a feature called 'game battery booster' slurps less juice during gameplay, while a new PowerBotics system shuts down apps that use excessive power, improving battery life by 30 per cent.
The HTC 10 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow topped with HTC's Sense UI. HTC said that it worked with Google to make the skin less heavy, binning duplicate apps and the usual bloatware on HTC devices.
It's also more customisable, according to HTC, as the new 'Freestyle Layout' means you no longer have to stick to a grid layout. This lets you put apps and widgets wherever you want them, while removing those that you don't want. The new App Lock functionality makes it more secure, allowing users to unlock any app they choose.
The HTC 10 has a 3,000mAh battery that charges to 50 per cent in 30 minutes with HTC's 3.0 Rapid Charger, and 32GB or 64GB of storage expandable by an additional 2TB via microSD slot.
The HTC 10 will be available in four colour combinations: Carbon Grey, Glacier Silver, Topaz Gold and Camellia Red.

TOP FIVE BEST ANTIVIRUS 2016... INCLUDING WIN10.
We all would admit to the fact that a device(laptops, computers & sWe all would admit to the fact that a device(laptops, computers & smartphones) without an antivirus is prone to viruses, malware’s and most probably “hacks” when I say hacks, I do not mean cheap social media hacks such as WhatsApp hacks, Facebook hacks, and others. No, I’m talking about serious credit card breach, personal information theft, and incriminating details if there are any. Imagine you losing hundreds of thousands of dollars or naira as the case may be, each and every day just because you didn’t pay for something not really up to $100 or sometimes, free! That sounds folly, right?
Anyways, don’t get too hard on yourself, if you don’t have an antivirus yet or you’re troubled on the antivirus you need to get, don’t get yourself stressed as I’m about to make things easier.
Below are the top 5 best antivirus software’s you should opt for, free and paid software’s.

1. Avast AntiVirus (Free and paid)
Why Avast and why is it topping my list? it’s simple, everyone uses it. Yes, when I say everyone, I mean everyone and you too should use it. In June 2012, a survey was projected by Opswa , in this survey, of over 150 antivirus software’s which I can’t start listing right now, Avast was ranked as the number one (1) most used antivirus software with over 17% usage and over 230 million downloads. With Avast antivirus, your details are secured. Their latest update is a must use, it is compatible with any Windows “computer or laptop” devices, Mac and Android devices as well.
Everything, including antivirus software programs, has its cons and here are those of Avast;
Internet connection is needed to download, maintain and activate updates.
The avast free version isn’t supported on
Microsoft Windows Servers.

2. BitDefender AntiVirus (Free and Paid)
BitDefender is the second best antivirus software on my list. Of course, it does has a free ver

The highly anticipated Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are expecting to break last year’s initial number of Galaxy S6 units in the first three months following its announcement.
A Korean media outlet reports that Samsung is preparing to manufacturer a total of 17.2 million Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge units by April of this year.
Samsung is really hoping to break its previous record set by the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge which sold roughly 15.8 million units in its first three months after launch with the second most successful device title held by the Galaxy S4 selling just over 15.2 million units in its initial sale period.
Also, the company has reportedly changed its ratio of S7 and S7 edge where the S6 was manufactured 4:1 with the S6 edge constantly in short supply. This time around, Samsung wants to use a 6:4 ratio since it was not able to predict the roaring demand that the S6 edge had last year.
Samsung hopes the overwhelming reception to the Galaxy S7’s announcement this year at MWC is indication to the S7 and S7 edge’s success and should break the S6’s record for the first three months of sales.

MOBILE PHONES ARE COOKING UP MEN'S S***M. SHOULD WE BE WORRIED?

Fertility experts are warning man that using a mobile for as little as an hour a day is "cooking s***m" and lowering level significantly.
The new study shows that having a mobile phone close to the testicles - or within a foot or two of the body - can lower s***m levels so much that conceiving could be difficult .
The findings have led to a leading British fertility expert to advise men to stop being addicted to mobile phones.

"If you wear a suit to work put the mobile in your chest pocket instead of close to your te**es. It will reduce the risk of your s***m count dropping or dropping so much."
Prof Gedis Grudzinskas.

The study - by highly respected specialists - found that s***m levels of men who kept their phones in their pocket during the day were seriously affected in 47 per cent of cases compare to just 11 per cent in the general population.
Professor Martha Dirnfeld, of the Technion University in Haifa, said: "We analysed the amount of active swimming s***m and the quality and found that it had been reduced.

"We think this is being caused by a heating of the s***m from the phone and by electromagnetic activity."

The team monitored more than 100 men attending a fertility clinic for a year.
The quality of s***m among men in Western countries is constantly decreasing Photo: ALAMY
They found that besides men keeping their phones close to their groin many spoke on the phone while it was charging and kept it only a few centimetres from their bed.

Even keeping the phone on a bedside table appears to raise lower s***m cell counts
The findings are in the journal Reproductive BioMedicine and support a long-feared link between dropping fertility rates in men and the prevalent use of cellular phones.

The quality of s***m among men in Western countries is constantly decreasing and is considered crucial in 40 percent of the cases in which couples have difficulty conceiving a child.
Men are advised to keep mobile phones in chest pockets.

Professor Gedis Grudzinskas, a fertility consult ant St George's Hospital London and in Harley Street said: " Men need to think about their well being and try to stop being addicted to their phones."
If you wear a suit to work put the mobile in your chest pocket instead of close to your te**es. It will reduce the risk of your s***m count dropping or dropping so much
"Women generally don't carry their mobiles on them so maybe a mobile phone won't affect their fertility. That's not something we have looked at"
Prof Martha Dirnfeld"

And do you need to keep the phone right next to you on the bedside table. Some men keep their mobile in their shorts or pyjamas in bed. Is that really necessary?

Professor Dirnfeld said: "I think this is a warning to men to change their habits to improve their chances of having children. Women generally don't carry their mobiles on them so maybe a mobile phone won't affect their fertility. That's not something we have looked at."

Professor Alan Pacey, a fertility research scientist at Sheffield University has scoffed at suggestions that mobile phones could be damaging male fertility and insists he will be carry on putting his mobile in his trouser pocket.
Professor Dirnfeld said: "Dr Pacey might not need to worry about his fertility, but for younger guys it is a worry. If you a trying for a baby and it doesn't happen within a year you might want to think of whether it could be your mobile phone habit that is to blame."
