I was The University of Ibadan Chess Coach for 18 years. I received many awards from the University and outside the University during the period. 17 years after I left, I was called to receive an award of recognition of my invaluable contributions to the growth and development of Chess at the University of Ibadan. This award is significant to me. It is an honor to be recognized 17 years after my servitude at University of Ibadan.
Wherever we are,whatever we do, we should endeavor to leave a mark that will still be visible after many years. God be praised!
