Family Series: The staff of authority! Deliverance 2
Sovereignty of God's Grace Ministry

Matthew 10:1: "Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness."

In the New Testament, in a spiritual context, "deliverance" often refers to being freed from negative influences or powers, and can manifest in various ways, including healing, repentance, and renouncing harmful behaviors, as well as receiving strength and guidance. It can also be defined as the act of being rescued from evil and its effects, whether that be physical, emotional, or spiritual.

We are going to be looking at various types of deliverance. Healing deliverance can involve physical healing, where a person is healed from sickness or disease through the power of God.

In the New Testament, our Lord Jesus Christ not only healed all manner of sicknesses or diseases but also gave His twelve disciples authority to do the same.

Brethren, as a child of destiny in the family, it is the will of God for you to receive your healing and also use the staff of authority in Christ to heal the sick like the disciples. Several passages in the Bible, such as Matthew 4:23-25 and Matthew 9:35-38, document Jesus' healing ministry and the various illnesses he cured. I am also a recipient of Jesus's awesome healing after 27 years of incessant sickness was removed from my life.

Yes, many of Jesus' disciples were empowered to heal the sick in His name, as documented in the Bible. This power was bestowed upon them by Jesus himself, enabling them to perform miracles, cast out demons, and heal various ailments. For instance, Peter healed a crippled man in the name of Jesus. Examples of Disciples' Healing:
Peter and John: Healed a lame man at the temple gate. Act 3: 6.
Peter: His shadow brought healing to the sick. Act 5: and many more of such healing.

To receive healing, focus on faith and belief: believe in God's power to heal and that you are healed, not based on how you feel, but on God's Word.
Pray for healing, believing that God has heard your prayer and will answer.
Guard your mind against doubt and negativity, focusing on God's promises and your healing.

Constantly thank God for the healing and what He has done in your life.
Ensure that your words and actions are aligned with your prayer and faith in God's healing. Forgive those who have hurt you as unforgiveness can hinder healing.
Study God's Word: Immerse yourself in God's Word to build your faith and understand His promises of healing and stand on God's Word and declare that you are healed, even when you don't feel it.

Finally, the Practical aspect, take care of your physical needs: Get enough sleep, eat a healthy diet, drink plenty of water, and manage stress. Don't neglect seeking medical advice and treatment, but also trust in God's healing power.

This is for somebody reading this now, you have been nursing a kind of sickness for a while now. I am led to tell you to work on your faith and truly believe that God can heal you. All your hope is in medicine but you need to also believe in God as your Creator to perfect your healing and take away that affliction of sickness. Remember this scripture:
Mark 5:34: "He said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.'"

Hear what the Lord is saying to you today: 1 Peter 2:24 "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Jeremiah 30:17: But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the LORD, ‘because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.’

I decree and declare that God will grant you more faith to receive your healing in Jesus name.

Prayer Points: Pray and apply Psalm 147 by faith.
Do have an uplifting day through the blood of Jesus.
God bless you beloved.

2: Family Series:The staff of authority! Deliverance 1
Sovereignty of God’s Grace Ministry Int

Exodus 3:8 KJV
And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Moses received a staff of authority when he had an encounter with God, which also represents the staff of deliverance. What is deliverance? Deliverance is defined as “a rescue from bo***ge or danger.” Deliverance in the Bible is the acts of God whereby He rescues His people from danger. In the Old Testament, deliverance is focused primarily on God’s removal of those who are in the midst of trouble or danger.

After the death of Joseph in Egypt, there
arose a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. They saw how the children of Israelites multiplied and grew exceedingly, and the Egyptians were so intimidated and decided to afflict them with their burdens.

Exodus 1:13-14 And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour: And they made their lives bitter with hard bo***ge, in mortar, and brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigor.

When the affliction became so unbearable, they cried out to God, and He sent Moses with a staff of authority to deliver them from their affliction.
Exodus 3:7 And the LORD said I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

Brethren, there is hardly anybody in this world who has not been subjected to one affliction or the other. Immediately, you are born into this world, into your family with great destiny, the enemy will set out to stop you by afflicting you with all kinds of troubles, hardships, and tribulations. However, while the enemy satan thinks he is subjecting you to all kinds of afflictions, God turns the afflictions to groom you to become a strong person with a resilient spirit.

James 1:2-4:
"Consider it a joyful thing, my brothers, that you're facing trials. For when you're tested, it will show your faith is strong and that you're persevering, and when perseverance has had its full effect, then you will be perfect and complete, ready to face any difficulty."

In the process of time, when the afflictions become unbearable, and you cry out to God, He will hear and deliver you the same way He did for the children of Israelites. Psalm 34:19: "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."

What to do to receive your deliverance: Cry out to God to save you, recognize your errors, and ask God for mercy. Have a contrite and repentant spirit. Finally, trust in God and have faith that only God can deliver and set you free.

This is for somebody reading this now. You have allowed your afflictions to separate you from God. In fact, you blame God for all your afflictions and have allowed your mind to become reprobate, that is a mind that is given over to sinful desires and ungodly behavior, rejecting God's guidance and living a life devoid of remorse or conviction of sin. I'm led to tell you to repent and cry out to God for mercy as He is the only one who can set you free. Otherwise, you will have yourself to blame eventually.

Remember this scripture: The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness – Romans 1:18

Hear what the Lord is saying to you today: 2 Peter 2:9: "The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the ungodly for the day of judgment to be punished."

Psalm 34:17:
"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles."

Psalm 107:6:
"Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress."

I decree and declare that God will deliver you from all your troubles and set you free in Jesus name.

Prayer Points: Pray and apply Psalm 18 by faith.
Do have an uplifting day through the blood of Jesus.
God bless you, beloved.

1: Family Series: Staff of authority!
Sovereignty of God’s Grace Ministry Int

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” – Psalms 23:4-5

The staff or rod of authority is a significant symbol that appears throughout the Old and New Testaments. It often represents authority, guidance, support, divine intervention, and much more.

As a symbol of authority, the staff represents the legitimate power and leadership bestowed by God. Moses' and Aaron's staff are clear examples of this, as they validate their God-given roles and responsibilities.

The story of Moses is one of the most compelling narratives in the Bible and portrays the staff as a clear sign of divine authority and leadership. When Moses is called to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, God appears to him in the form of a burning bush and commands Moses to use his staff to manifest divine miracles (Exodus 4:2-5). Moses' staff becomes a serpent, then returns to its original form, demonstrating God's power and authority.

Brethren, as a child of God in the family, you need the staff of authority to navigate through life and achieve your destiny. Operating in this world without the staff of authority is like presenting yourself to the enemy's camp without armor and weapons. Of course, you will be defeated.

Exercising your God-given authority as a child of God makes heaven rejoice over you as it is the will of God to operate with the authority and dominion given by heaven. God created you to rule and have dominion over everything He created. Having authority and dominion makes you multiply and be fruitful in this world.

Genesis 1:28 KJV
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

How can you lose your authority and dominion? When you live a sinful lifestyle and fail to fear and reverence God. Adam and Eve fell and lost their authority when they sinned being disobedient. They lost not only their authority but every other thing as well and they were driven completely from the presence of God where they had the comfort to living a hard difficult lifestyle.

Genesis 3:17-18 KJV
And unto Adam, he said Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

This is for somebody reading this now, the day you decided to help your destiny and compromise was the day you lost your authority. Your failure to wait on God and greed for material possessions have stripped you of your God-given authority. Even after you compromised your faith, things are still not going as smoothly as you expected. The comfort you are seeking is lacking and you have also lost the presence of God. I am led to tell you to repent and go back to your first love. He owns your life and He is the only source of comfort.

Remember this scripture: Revelation 2:4-5
Nevertheless, I have somewhat against thee because thou hast left thy first love. [
Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Hear what the Lord is saying to you:
Luke 10:19: “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you”.

I decree and declare that God will grant you grace to exercise your authority as a child of God.

Prayer Points: Pray and apply Psalm 21 by faith.
Do have an uplifting day through the blood of Jesus
God bless you beloved.
