Open Letter to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), President and Commander-in-Chief, Federal Republic of Nigeria

Dear Asiwaju and Esteemed Family,

With utmost respect and a heavy heart, I write as a longtime, committed supporter of your progressive legacy. If reports are true that Mr. Seyi Tinubu facilitated the installation of the son of the immediate past Oba Onikoyi of Ikoyi and Imoba Kingdom disregarding the rightful claim of the Dosunmu Onikoyi ruling house it amounts to a betrayal of tradition, justice, and the rule of law.

The Dosunmu Onikoyi house unanimously elected their candidate, following the established rotational arrangement and Supreme Court rulings. Circumventing this process undermines the very values of equity and social justice that your family and Yeye Asiwaju have long stood for.

Since 1999, I have served your cause faithfully, campaigning, voting, even producing media content without asking for access or reward. This development, if true, deeply wounds that loyalty.

Power is transient; legacy is eternal. Please, do not let loyalty be rewarded with betrayal.
