That pleasure of new year resolution, let’s ditch it in this year, 2026. Why? Because resolutions are just promises and promises often fade.

Personally, I think action is the game-changer. Instead of crafting lofty goals, focus on daily habits.

Sometimes, resolutions spark guilt when they fail; actions build momentum.

Start small, iterate, and crush it in this year, 2026.

Happy New Year to you all.

Have you ever been in that place where you really want to go to church, but at the same time, something in you just doesn’t feel like going? That was exactly where I found myself last year.

So many times, I’d wake up with this desire to be in church. But whenever I got there, I just couldn’t connect. No matter how hard I tried to listen, it all felt distant; like I was there physically, but my heart wasn’t. After a while, I stopped bothering. I told myself, “What’s the point of going if I’m not feeling it?”

But just when I thought I’d spend the whole year without truly experiencing God’s presence, something unexpected happened. Ajara Uniquefm 93.5 FM — the radio station I started working with early last year, decided to host its second edition of the annual Praise Concert.

At first, I joined simply because it was part of my job. But right there, in the middle of that concert, something shifted. I felt a connection I hadn’t felt in a long time. The atmosphere, the worship, the sincerity, it all drew me in. For the first time that year, I genuinely felt God’s presence again.

Now, another edition of the Praise Concert is coming up this December 1st. If you’ve been feeling disconnected, maybe this is your moment; don’t miss the chance to be part of something that could rekindle your connection with God.

Motherland by Soundsultan is a thought-provoking song, that revolves around Soundsultan’s love and longing for Nigeria, his homeland. Soundsultan expresses his desire to maintain his cultural roots while navigating the challenges of city life. The song tells stories of Nigerians who leave their homeland in search of better opportunities abroad but often lose touch with their roots and loved ones.

The lyrics describe the sacrifices made by families to send their children abroad, only to have them forget their heritage and struggle with their new lives.

Motherland resonated with many listeners worldwide, sparking conversations about identity, culture, and the experience of Nigerians in the diaspora.

The song is still relevant today, making it a timeless classic in Nigerian music.
