2027: ISIALA NGWA NORTH STAKEHOLDERS RALLY BEHIND ENGR PASTOR OSINACHI ANOSIKE USUWA, PLEDGES TO ENSURE HIS VICTORY
In a significant political development, stakeholders of Isiala Ngwa North yesterday unanimously endorsed Engr Pastor Osinachi Anosike Usuwa, the candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the Isiala Ngwa North/Isiala Ngwa South Federal Constituency, as their preferred candidate for the House of Representatives.
The endorsement followed an extensive meeting attended by a broad spectrum of political, community, and opinion leaders from across the local government area. The stakeholders stated that their decision was anchored on the competence, capacity, integrity, and leadership qualities of Engr Usuwa, which they believe position him to provide effective and quality representation for the constituency.
According to the stakeholders, Isiala Ngwa deserves a representative who understands the challenges facing the people and possesses the professional background, legislative vision, and compassionate disposition required to attract development, empower the youth, support women, and promote the overall welfare of the constituency.
The meeting was attended by former members of the Abia State House of Assembly, former local government chairmen, community leaders, traditional opinion leaders, youth organizations, women groups, political stakeholders, and representatives of various social groups . Participants took turns to commend Engr Usuwa’s longstanding commitment to community service, grassroots engagement, and inclusive leadership.
Speaking during the meeting, several stakeholders emphasized that the endorsement was not based on sentiment, but on a careful assessment of the candidates seeking the office. They expressed confidence that Engr Usuwa possesses the capacity to articulate the needs of Isiala Ngwa effectively at the National Assembly and to pursue policies that will bring tangible dividends of democracy to the people.
The stakeholders also called on residents of Isiala Ngwa North to rally behind the ADC candidate and work collectively for a new era of purposeful representation founded on accountability, competence, and compassion.
The meeting ended with a resounding vote of confidence in Engr Pastor Osinachi Anosike Usuwa and a commitment by the stakeholders to mobilize support for his candidacy across all wards and communities in Isiala Ngwa North when campaigns begin.
