She wasn't a lazy student.

In fact, she was one of those students you would always find with a book.

She attended classes.
She took notes.
She stayed up late studying.
She solved past questions.
She prayed before exams.

She genuinely wanted to succeed.

But when the results came out…

Another disappointment.

She couldn't understand it.

“How can I study this much and still fail?”

She became frustrated.

She started doubting herself.

Maybe she wasn't smart enough.
Maybe university was just too difficult for her.

But she didn't realize something:

Hard work alone doesn't always guarantee academic success.

Sometimes, the problem isn't how much you're doing.

It's how you're doing it.

Then she discovered a book that challenged everything she thought she knew about academic success:

📖 WHY HARDWORKING STUDENTS STILL FAIL

As she turned the pages, she began to understand why her efforts weren't producing the results she expected.

And this time, she didn't just study harder.

She started studying wiser.

Her story began to change.

Maybe yours can too.

Don't just work hard. Learn to win wisely.

NYSC: Done and Dusted! 🇳🇬

Looking back, I can confidently say this milestone was made possible by God's grace. Human effort alone wouldn't have been enough.

The journey came with lessons, challenges, growth, and unforgettable experiences—all of which have shaped me for the next phase.

This is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in my eyes.

Grateful for the journey. Excited for what's next.

In Christ, there is always more to receive because His resources never run out.

Outside Christ, there is nothing of eternal value to gain.

He is the Source. He is the Substance. He is enough.

The day I saw my deployed state was Bayelsa, my countenance changed instantly. Before I could say a word, tears began to roll down my cheeks.

"Are you alright?" the café attendant asked.

"Of course, I am," I replied, trying to hold myself together as I hurried home.

The moment I got home, I burst into tears again.

I cried. A lot.

So many questions flooded my mind. Why Bayelsa? How would I cope? What was waiting for me there?

Well, I eventually travelled—13 long hours on the road.

But there was one thing that gave me confidence that I was exactly where I was supposed to be.

While praying about my NYSC posting, I had asked God where He would send me. In response, He showed me a picture of something I would see in camp.

The moment I arrived at camp and saw that exact picture, peace filled my heart. It was God's reminder that He had gone ahead of me.

Looking back now, I can truly say that my stay here has been amazing.

Sometimes, God's plans don't look comfortable at first. They may even bring tears to our eyes. But when we trust Him and follow His leading, we often discover that His destination is far better than our expectations.

Grateful for the journey, and hopeful for the best.

PURPOSE NEVER RETIRES

A few months ago, I had the privilege of ministering during a Sunday service in a church in Bayelsa under the leadership of Dikarious Micah-jasper

When the invitation came, I was shocked and a little afraid. After all, I had never preached in a church before.

I almost turned it down.

Then a question dropped in my heart:

"Would your spiritual father reject the opportunity to minister to souls if given the chance?"

My answer was immediate: Of course not.

That became my driving force.

With the help of the Holy Spirit, a message came, a Bible text followed, and the sermon gradually took shape.

Being a consistent listener of the Monday Bible Study also gave me a solid foundation as I prepared and organized the message into three points.

By the end of the service, I received encouraging feedback and heartfelt prayers from both the elderly and the young.

Looking back, I realize that beyond the sermon, it was a lesson in obedience, courage, and readiness for kingdom service.

Thank you, Papa, for your life of sacrifice, consistency, and unwavering commitment to the Gospel. Your teachings continue to raise and equip labourers across generations.

Happy 85th Birthday, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi.
