*On 8th February 2018, BUKADEX gave out *free eyes glasses*to over 500 people of Ijebu-Ode LG. after due screening.*👇

Thanking God for the success of a One-Day FREE Eyes screening and distribution of glasses.

637 people registered, 582 people were screened, 26 people referred for further check up, 35 people were given corrective prescriptions, WHILE 521 people got FREE eye glasses.

The Exercise was opened to everyone, irrespective of Political affliations.

The event was officially flagged off by the former *APC Ogun East Senatorial Chairman, Pa Folorunsho Elias* and the former *Executive Chairman of Ijebu Ode Local Govt. Arc. Gbolade Ola Oduwole.*

All to the glory of God.

✓We all know that Politics is a game of number, this she has across the Wards in Ijebu-Ode Local Government. (Through her antecedent, existing and fast growing Political Group since year 2015).

✓The World is rooting for an healthy Gender Equality, and from the history of Ijebu-Ode, no woman has taken the post of Chairmanship at the Local Government.

✓Persons antecedent is crucially needed to be screened before putting them forward for a post to represent his/her people. One of the bane of our Democracy is our ways of voting for a Political (Opportunists) who had never been available before, who doesn't know his/her Local Government Political jurisdiction not to talk of associating with the people until the election time. Definitely, such candidate won't be available immediately after achieving his/her aims.
