Ilebaye’s mum has now shared her side of the ongoing family controversy, addressing several claims making rounds online.
According to a report shared by Linda Ikeji Blog, she strongly denied allegations that her daughter never supported her father financially.
She explained that Ilebaye’s father allegedly demanded ₦50 million from her Big Brother Naija winnings, despite already receiving significant financial support.
The mother claimed that Ilebaye had previously spent nearly ₦30 million on her father’s needs, including sponsoring his medical trip to India.
She further revealed that her daughter gave him ₦7 million in 2023 and about ₦8 million during another trip last year.
She also stated that Ilebaye is currently responsible for paying her brother’s school fees, which reportedly runs into millions of naira.
Expressing concern, she questioned why the father is attempting to control her daughter’s earnings despite the support already given.
On another allegation, she said Ilebaye once planned to open a shop for her, but the father allegedly blocked the idea, insisting he must approve it first.
She also debunked claims that Ilebaye exposed her brother to hard substances.
According to her, the boy only found a sh**ha pen in Ilebaye’s room, took it to school, showed it off, and was later disciplined after being reported. She insists he was never expelled.
Finally, she dismissed rumours of cosmetic surgery, stating that Ilebaye has never undergone any form of surgery, adding that the claims are aimed at damaging her daughter’s image.
