I have heard a lot of women say - Love is not about money - I don't need your money - I did not marry you because of your money. And it get to a stage that quarrels began to flow in the union.

*Question:*
CAN LOVE STRIVE IN A FAMILY WITHOUT PROVISIONS?

*Answer:*
Love without provisions is not sustainable in practical terms, as "provisions" encompasses financial, emotional, and other forms of support that are crucial for a relationship to thrive.

While love may be the necessary "seed" for a partnership, provisions serve as the "soil" where growth can occur.

Though a relationship can begin with love and passion, without the commitment to provide resources, support, and consistent effort, that love can wither and fail to develop into a lasting bond.

*T.D. Jakes* announces his transition as lead pastor at The Potter's House on April 27,2025.

*Bishop T.D. Jakes (67)* announced on Sunday, April 27, that he is stepping down as lead pastor of The Potter’s House Church in Dallas and handing over the lead shepherding role over to his daughter and son-in-law.

An emotional Jakes preached a sermon titled *“Whatever God Commands”* before naming Touré Roberts and Sarah Jakes Roberts as his successors.

Jakes started preaching when he was 19, and he founded The Potter’s House in 1996. Today, the church averages over 16,000 weekly attenders and owns 1,000 acres of land.
The news of Jakes stepping down comes five months after he suffered a massive heart attack onstage while preaching on a Sunday morning.

Recently, Jakes has also been the center of controversy surrounding sexual abuse allegations, which has led the bishop to file a defamation suit against his accusers.

*FATHER, HEAL OUR LAND - NIGERIA.*

Precious Saviour, we bless Your holy name. Reach into our hearts and minds and withdraw the darkness that lurks deep within our soul. Replace it with that wonderful glorious light that comes from You through love, sacrifice, grace and mercy. Allow it to beam out from us so we can touch the lives of many..

*Peace amidst the chaos:*

Jehovah Shalom, deposit Your overflowing peace in the midst of this chaotic land. Cleanse the minds and hearts of the ones responsible for the crime in the nation.

Oh great Prince of Peace, the violence, the gang wars, the kidnappings, the robberies and the murders are increasing daily and we ask that You bind every evil entity that is responsible for this! In Jesus Name!

*Healing and mending for victims:*

Jehovah Rapha, heal those who have been victims of these crimes. Mend the broken hearts of those who lost loved ones in these tragic situations.

Be near to them, let them feel Your warm and tender love as You comfort them, Oh Gentle Father, in Jesus name.

*Declaring victory over evil:*

Invade the minds of those who are contemplating committing, or have committed, crimes, oh Elohim. May they turn from their wicked ways and seek Your Face. For those who seek You will find You and will be greatly rewarded on earth as well as the kingdom of heaven.

We declare that every evil force manipulating the minds of Your people will flee when we call upon Your great name.

WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH:

FEAR NOT:

Isaiah 41:10
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

God promises to uphold us. More than that, He promises to uphold us with His righteous right hand. That means, when you lose your footing, He's going to be there to hold you up, if you'll trust in Him.

Five promises are there in this verse:
Finding Strength in God (Isaiah 41:10) reminds us of five promises God has made which can give us the confidence that we do not need to fear:
(1) “I am with you”,
(2) “I am your God”,
(3) “I will help you”,
(4) “I will strengthen you”,
(5) “I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
This verse gives us hope that God will help us in

LET US PRAY:
Lord, I am not afraid for I know that You are always with me to comfort me and to guide me. I will forever trust in You because I know that You will strengthen me in time of dismay. I find comfort knowing that You are God of all mankind and You will help me in time of need. Amen.

*THE BREAD OF LIFE TODAY -- 05/09/2024*

*Ephesians 3:16-18*

"That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height".

*INSPIRATION ON TODAY'S VERSE*

Your inner man is strengthened as you spend time studying and meditating on the Word, and praying in the spirit, in other tongues. You also develop the right character and are able to do the things of God more effectively.

Paul asks for spiritual blessings, which are the best blessings. Strength from the Spirit of God in the inner man; strength in the soul; the strength of faith, to serve God, and to do our duty.

*MY PRAYER*

Lord, thank you for your strength and love that you have bestowed upon us. Your Word has been a source of power and guidance, and we are grateful for the faith and love of Christ that you have built up in us.

I pray that from Your glorious, unlimited resources You will empower us with inner strength through Your Spirit, that Christ will make His home in our hearts as we trust in Him, and that our roots will grow down into God's love and keep us strong, in Jesus name.

,*THE BREAD OF LIFE TODAY -- 04/09/2024*

*James 4:8*

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”

*INSPIRATION ON TODAY'S VERSE*

James promised that when we resist Satan, he will leave. Here in verse 8, James calls us to draw near—to move closer—to God. This comes with an additional promise: God will respond by moving closer to us. That's an incredible act of mercy on God's part. The God of the universe owes us nothing, including His closeness.

We must come to God before we can overcome our sins. Many mistakenly believe they must first fix their lives before they can have a relationship with God and become a Christian. This is not the case; God is always ready to welcome us with open arms.

*MY PRAYER*

I come to You, Lord, through the cleansing power of Your Son's blood. I'm so grateful for Your grace and mercy. I no longer feel ashamed, knowing that I can come to You and receive Your love, grace, and forgiveness. Thank You for the life You've given me.

Forgive me for letting sin get between me and You. I want to draw closer to You more each day. Help me to surrender my thoughts and actions to You and with Your grace, I will reflect Your glory more and more as I become the person that You have created me to be *Amen*🙏🙏🙏

“The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.”

*INSPIRATION ON TODAY'S VERSE*

In *Job 17:9*, Job expresses his confidence in the righteousness of the faithful, emphasizing that those who are upright and have clean hands will continue to persevere and grow stronger despite the challenges they face.

Let God be the driver of your life and you'll be free from stagnation. Don't dwell on the past, but look ahead and let God guide you. He has the power to push you forward and give you new ideas that will move your life forward. Let go of all that holds you back and trust in Him. He will bring you success and joy.

*MY PRAYER*

Lord, grant me grace to forgive & stay strong in You. Guide me away from temptation & help me progress. Break down obstacles & let me experience success. Move me forward in You. Amen.
