One day, his young apprentice asked, “How do you stay so patient fixing clocks that break every day?”

The old man smiled and handed him a stopped clock.

“Listen carefully,” he said.
The boy waited but heard nothing.

Then the clockmaker gently repaired one small gear and suddenly the clock began ticking again.

“Life is like this clock,” the old man said
“Sometimes people feel broken because everything is silent and still.

But often, it only takes one small step, one kind word, one more attempt, or one moment of courage to make life move again.”

THE POTTER'S CRACK 🏺

A potter once made two clay pots and carried them daily to fetch water.

One pot was perfect, but the other had a small crack on its side.

Every day, the cracked pot felt ashamed because it leaked water before reaching home.

One morning, it sadly told the potter,
“I’m useless. I can never do my job perfectly.”

The potter smiled and said,
“Look beside the road.”

The cracked pot noticed beautiful flowers blooming all along its side of the path.
The potter explained,

“I knew about your crack, so I planted seeds there.

Every day, while you leaked water, you watered the flowers that now brighten our home.”

The cracked pot finally understood that even its weakness had a purpose.

Lesson for today:
Your imperfections do not cancel your value. Sometimes, the very thing you think is your weakness is what makes your life beautiful and meaningful.

THE THURSDAY LANTERN

A traveler was walking through a dark path at night carrying a small lantern.

Looking ahead, he complained, “This light only shows a few steps. How will I reach my destination?”

An elderly man nearby replied, “You don’t need light for the whole journey…

only enough light for your next step.”
The traveler kept walking

g, and with every step, the lantern revealed more of the road until he safely reached his destination.

Life doesn’t always show us the full picture. Sometimes, all we need is courage for the next step.
