As one of the foremost first-class monarchs in Ondo State, the revered Owa-Ale Adimula of Ikare Akoko, His Royal Majesty Oba (Barrister) Adeleke Adefemi Adegbite-Adedoyin II, graced with royal presence the historic coronation ceremony of His Royal Majesty Oba Akintoye Adeoye, the Oluoke and Paramount Ruler of Okeigbo in Ileoluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area.

It was a gathering of crowns and culture, where royal fathers those divinely ordained by Olódùmarè to guide, protect, and nurture their people stood as symbols of peace, harmony, and enduring unity. The sacred rites, rich in ancestral significance, echoed the continuity of tradition and the unbroken chain of Yoruba heritage.

Yesterday’s celebration by the Onímọlẹ̀ was not just a ritual, but a powerful expression of gratitude to the gods of the land an age-long spiritual acknowledgment of protection, provision, and continuity.

In a grand and symbolic display, the custodians of tradition came together to honour the unseen forces that guide the destiny of the people, marking yet another year of grace, survival, and communal strength. In a grand and dignified gathering, the Olori's of Kabiyesi Owa Ale Adimula's Chiefs came together not only to celebrate themselves but also to invest in their future. Beyond the festivities, they took a bold step towards empowerment by acquiring new skills that will serve as sustainable sources of daily income, reflecting their commitment to growth, resilience, and self-reliance.

Kolade, the Iya Ijo of All Saints Anglican Church, Ikare Akoko.

The occasion was further dignified by the presence of HRM Oba Yisa Olanipekun, the Zaki of Arigidi Akoko, as well as former Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

Kabiyesi Alayeluwa, HRM Oba Adeleke Adefemi Adegbite-Adedoyin II, graced the celebration of a life well spent in honour of Late Mrs Deborah Adeyoriola Ujayoriade Ajanaku Makun.

The event, which attracted dignitaries from across Ondo State and beyond, also had in attendance the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, alongside several respected royal fathers.
Late Mrs Makun was the mother-in-law to Rotimi Benjamin Ibidapo, owner of Mydas Hotel and Resort, Owo.
