REQUEST FOR URGENT INTERVENTION IN THE PROLONGED ELECTRICITY FAILURE IN OKPANAM AND ITS ENVIRONS
I write on behalf of concerned residents and business owners in Okpanam and the surrounding communities to respectfully draw your attention to the prolonged electricity failure that we have been experiencing for several months.
Electricity is a vital necessity for the growth and development of any community. Unfortunately, the continued power outage in our area has caused significant hardship for residents and has severely affected small and medium-scale businesses that depend on electricity for their daily operations.
Many business owners such as barbers, tailors, welders, frozen food sellers, and other entrepreneurs are struggling to survive due to the lack of stable power supply. Students also find it difficult to study at night, while families face daily discomfort and increased financial burden from relying on generators and fuel.
Okpanam is a rapidly growing community with hardworking citizens who contribute positively to the economic and social development of Delta State. However, the continued absence of electricity is slowing down progress and affecting the quality of life of the people.
Your Excellency, we respectfully appeal for your urgent intervention to investigate and address the electricity situation affecting Okpanam and its environs. We strongly believe that with your leadership and commitment to development, this issue can be resolved and normal power supply restored to our community.
We remain hopeful and confident that our appeal will receive the necessary attention and prompt action.
