The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has donated modern crime-fighting equipment and protective gadgets to the Lagos Police Command to strengthen security operations across the state.

LSSTF Executive Secretary, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, described the initiative as a proactive step towards boosting operational efficiency and enhancing public safety.

Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, who received the equipment on behalf of the Command, assured residents that the tools would be deployed strategically to improve surveillance and support effective policing.

The newly constituted Board of the Universal Service Provision Fund (USPF) held its induction and inaugural meeting in Lagos, reaffirming its mandate to bridge Nigeria’s digital divide by expanding telecommunications access to underserved and unserved communities.

* The meeting was presided over by the Board Chairman and focused on strengthening governance, operational efficiency, and strategic direction to enhance the Fund’s impact on national digital development.
