Hitlist N Cruzin , A protégé and more...
It was a sunny day in late 2008 when the receptionist buzzed me that a young man sent by my good friend Sani Mohammed of Raypower FM is waiting to see me, of course without an appointment.
Not in my character to turn away anyone, I came out to meet this gentle looking, handsome young Man who introduced himself and his Musical program then running only on TV Continental. He shared with me the difficulty in getting adverts and the threat of the station to yank him off at the end of that quarter.
He sounded so combining and the fire of his burning vision was so passionate and obvious that I decided there and then to buy into his program.
Luckily for him, a presentation of a final plan to Client, Friesland Campina WAMCO was postponed by a day. I was able to sneak in some Advert spots for Hitlist and Cruzin and his program was saved.
Seeing that his content was rich and his altruism by giving back to viewers by way of winning shopping tickets was so touching to me and I therefore advised him to expand to other station and fortuitously for him, Confluence TV Lokoja was taking off and him being from Kogi, it was easy to connect him with my beloved Sister, Modupe Ajeshola who represents the station in Lagos.
To the glory of God, HnC is now a flagship and must watch music program on AIT National and tens of stations across the nation.
Mursty and his beloved virtuous wife, Adinoyi Roseline has remained humble, calm and welcoming despite the success of their multiple award winning program over the years.
As fate will have it, my daughter Princess Vikki Nikki , the girl with the key was taken as the main anchor of the program about 7years ago in my absence while outside the country and she remains the face of the program so far.
Awards of recognition and four in the last one month has shown that HnC remains a program to beat on the airwaves.
Kudos and greater heights to the Crew of Emrose Production.
