They must have enjoyed hurting him

But he couldn't leave them. They were his friends
So he asked me if he should I stop talking to my friend that makes fun of me

My answer is that we are the one nurturing the Seed of Low Self-esteeme

I got this response and I keep on wondering if I'm doing enough to get to the faces of those who are in need of the things we talk about on University Life Podcast

I keep thinking that am I doing enough
Or I'm only here posting to myself
My likes and comments have always been very low when I talk about my podcast.

It makes me rethink if it's all worth it

But the thing is that if any of my podcast episodes can help 1 person, influence one person's decisions, help one person see the word differently

I took one of the major big steps I've had in mind this morning

I approached a lecturer this morning to tell him about University Life Podcast and told him I'll like to interview him

I was scared and skeptical of his response but I approached him anyway

And he said YES.
He told me to come to him when I'm ready. Not that he'll communicate with me.

Our fears are valid but take action still. The result outside the fear is always fulfilling.
The next lecturer I'm going to approach is a Professor.

One of the oldest in the faculty of social science in and I am so excited about this.

I have not been consistent online since the network palava started.
But deep down I felt like I could do SOMETHING. I could still show up despite.

But I did nothing about it.

I was being knocked down by network and I stayed down for so long not doing anything... Yet my mind told me I could do something.

That I can still show up
So I made it intentional to start showing up even better than I did before.

Right now I know I have nothing to fall back to...

Resilience is one of the lessons I got in this episode and that's what this podcast stands for

I will say it takes a lot.

Really it's not an easy decision to make well, it is no wonder if you are able to make it.

It gives you these things.

This ideas, because inside my mind right now I KNOW I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO FALL BACK TO ...

People that have degrees have degrees to fall back so it kind of makes them lazy sometimes.

Okay, because at last they will get a job.

Right now I know I have nothing to fall back to.

So I have to work twice as hard to prove a point and prove my relevance in the world

Yeah so I like to call this is the BAD THINGS that make us GOOD, BETTER and BEST

I think someday I would write an autobiography that would be centered around these things and probably, that would be the title of my book

THE BAD THINGS THAT MAKE US GOOD

Because that's what I call THEM

They are the bad things that make us good

I had to repeat a whole year in Pharmacy school because I failed a 1 unit course...

Pharmacy School was hell for me.
I was struggling to be seen and heard.
I was studying a course I hated and never wanted to practice.
I felt like I was wasting my time.
I was losing touch with my true self - The cheerful, happy and creative me!
I had no room to express my creativity.

I was dying in silence everyday.

This might not mean much to some but to me it's a really big deal

An achievement

And I almost couldn't sleep because of the excitement

Which is the biggest of all platforms
