Counting back my steps

And it was time for morning assembly, behold the assembly stage no teacher were found, we wore pinafore and short nickers but on the assembly stage, the same Uniform with us but long sleeves and skirts, oh no are the teachers putting on the same Uniform with students, chaii this is beautiful but these men are too harsh to be teacher, hardly did I know that the senior students take charge of everything in the school, oh my God after prayers, national anthem and pledges it was time for announcement, please this is the senior prefect, deputy senior prefect disciplinarian social prefect labour prefect, and so on waaw! We have house of assembly inside school, oh God but when I heard, you can do anyhow you wish this week because you are with tail but from next week we will start cutting your tails one after the other I checked my back no tail and other of my classmates no tail, soliloquizing with me what does this statement mean?

FIRST EXPERIENCE
My first day in secondary school, one beautiful morning Monday, Adamma, like my mummy calls me, wake up it is time to get ready to school, Oh! My God so happy that the awaiting day has come, I woke up took my broom, sweep the compound, went straight to the bathroom and took my bath, God! I was so happy that I have grown like I dreamed and prayed, my mum looked at me and said daughter you are looking cute, you are good to go, the school was not far from our house I trekked to the school, walking around like a strange fowl on a new environment, God where am I going to start, look at big girls and boys no one was anything to me just looking at me as a novice, all the faces were strange to me but then I was happy that a dream came through and prayer answered.
