I went to the hospital today with my daughter, and whenever I want to communicate with her I use my dialect (igbo language) the women there was just looking at us, like does she understand you?
I just replied "as you can see ma".🙄

I also got the same question from a fellow passenger and he was looking surprised.

Is funny how most parents don't communicate with there kids in there own dialect, the truth is that kids from that tender age until they are 5 years of age understand at least 5 languages from birth.

So please dear parents communicate with your young ones in your language even if you and your husband are not from the same tribe they will understand the 2 dialect trust me.
Am a living witness.
And guess what my daughter speaks English fluently.
