Sometimes, the best person to count on is yourself. Oh! you don't know? 🤔

Let me tell you something. In a world where waiting for help, approval, or the “right time” can leave you stuck, I mean nobody is coming to save you. My dear there’s power in choosing to do it yourself. DIY isn't just about fixing things or building furniture, it's a mindset. It's about taking initiative, trusting your hands, your heart, and your vision.
It’s about beginning, even when you don’t have all the answers. It’s about believing in your ability to figure things out. And most importantly, it’s about knowing that every step forward no matter how messy it is, you're still progressing.

Here are some words that inspire me to keep going, even when I have to go it alone...
Don’t wait for the perfect moment. Take the moment and make it perfect.
Do it yourself. Even if you fail, you’ll learn far more than if you waited for someone else.

All my life, I’ve been told who I was supposed to be, what I should be doing, and all the stuff the world thought I should change.
And for a while, I tried it their way.
It led me down the wrong roads, tore me down and broke my heart countless times over.
With the weight of my life buckling me under, I had to stop doing all the things that broke me.
And start becoming the person I was meant to be.
So that’s what I did.
I dug deep, I fought back and started rising from the ashes.
Everyone may have thought I was broken, but I wasn’t.
I was healing.
Nothing happens overnight, and my journey back to being whole is a process.
But it’s one that is long overdue.
No more excuses, staying down and letting life get the best of me.
No, it’s my time now.
To rise above.
To turn my setbacks into a comeback.
To finally become who I knew I could be.
I’m done listening to the critics and everyone who thought they knew what was best for me.
Only I know what I need and deserve.
So that’s what I’m fighting for.
I’m standing up strong, proud and resilient.
This is my life, and I’m taking charge of it.
I’ve got greatness coursing in my veins, and it’s time I showed the world what I’m truly capable of.
And I know when I start flying high with the wings I’ve forged from the fires of failure,
They won’t know what to make of me.
And they don’t have to.
My life, my way.
And this time, I’m aiming for the stars.

It's another day with Tifeh 😉

I know you’re used to the way all the other ladies let you do as you pleased, but I’m letting you know that I’m not anything like the rest of them.
I don’t care what they did, liked or allowed, I have standards and boundaries that I’m not changing to accommodate your desires.
I know what I want and deserve and there’s nothing anyone can say that will change that-
So, don’t feel badly.
It’s not you..it’s me.
I know my worth and what I’m okay with, and it will never include disrespect, being disregarded or being treated like an option....Never!
I don’t settle and I never will.
So, if you like what the rest of them offered you, maybe you should go chase them, I’m not down with the things they didn’t mind.
I’m genuine, passionate and strong, so if you’re looking for a weak patsy that will let you do what you want, well, you’re knocking on the wrong door.
I deserve the best in this life and I’m never going to accept anything less..
And you shouldn’t either. (read that again quietly 🤫 😊)
You know what you like, so pursue those things..
But if you’re stepping to me seeking my heart, be ready to step up your standards, your character and your treatment of me…
I’m not saying I’m the easiest person to love, definitely not 😉(trust Tife to always overdo like wtf😒🧑‍🦯🧑‍🦯) but I will tell you that I’m worth it.
I’m worth all the effort, quality and respect you’d want for yourself.
This is who I am and what I expect.
I’m not okay with excuses, laziness or lackluster passion…
More importantly, are you up to my level and
can you handle my truth?
