The truth about solar systems nobody wants to admit…
It’s not always the installer’s fault when things go wrong!
As solar energy keeps gaining ground, I’ve come across different styles of installation. Some are perfect, some manageable, and some are outright terrible.
One major issue we can’t ignore is the presence of unqualified people dragging jobs from those who are properly trained. But let’s be honest__sometimes, the real problem comes from the clients themselves.
A client will say, “I only want to power three bulbs, two standing fans, and my laptop.” You recommend a 1kVA system with two 220Ah batteries for reliable backup. After installation, this same client will secretly add four more fans, two fridges, two Air Conditioners, three televisions, and even a welding machine. Lol on top 1kva? 🤣🤣😀😂
When the inverter finally blows, all the blame falls on the installer. Meanwhile, the main culprit is the client who tried to cheat the system because he thinks he’s wise.
Clients need to be honest about their actual loads. It’s just like hiding your symptoms from a doctor but still expecting the perfect prescription for an illness you never mentioned.
And please__somebody should help me ask Femi why on earth he thinks a 5000VA Chinese Sachet inverter can carry his hotplate and welding machine 😂😂
Na Electricians we be. no be Magicians😂😂😂
Happy new week to you all.
