WORD FOR THE DAY.
THEME: MOVE FORWARD. PART 1.
Deuteronomy 1:6-8 The Lord our God spoke to us at Horeb, saying, 'You have stayed long enough at this mountain. Break camp and advance into the hill country of the Amorites; go to all the neighboring peoples in the Arabah, in the mountains, in the western foothills, in the Negev and along the coast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the Euphrates.
God’s message to the Israelites at Horeb was clear: ‘You have stayed long enough at this mountain.’ This command is a powerful reminder that stagnation is not God’s plan for His people. When we linger too long in one place—whether in fear or uncertainty—we miss the greater purpose ahead. Move forward. Step into new opportunities, embrace the unknown with faith, and trust that God has already prepared the way. The promise is ahead, but action is required. Just as Israel was called to advance into new territories, God is calling you to rise, break camp, and walk into the destiny He has set before you.
I may not know your situation or limitations, but I have come this morning to tell you—move forward. The reward is ahead. Break out of stagnation and step into greater influence. When He commands, He also leads. Move forward, and He will move with you. He is faithful to bring down mountains and elevate valleys so you may walk in freedom.
PRAYER: Father, by faith, I receive Your command to move forward. Guide me as I engage in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
