I didn’t want to build ‘pretty’ brands, I wanted to build profitable ones.
When I started my online business, I had so much fire in my bones. So much excitement to work with business owners, helping them build brands that actually sell, not just look pretty.
Back then, I didn’t have it all figured out (honestly, I still don’t lol). But I knew one thing for sure: I didn’t want my clients to blend in.
I wanted to support them in showing up boldly and confidently in a way that reflects their values, message, and unique story.
These were some of the core things I focused on and still do:
1. Clear brand message (because confusion costs sales). If people land on your page and don’t understand what you do or how you can help them, they'll leave. No matter how beautiful your design is. This is where strategy comes in.
2. Intentional colours and visuals that connect emotionally. Colours are not just for “aesthetics.” They carry meaning. I move in to work on the brand visuals only after the brand strategy has been developed.
3. A simple website that does the heavy lifting. Your website should do 3 things really well:
– Tell people who you are and who you help
– Show proof that you’re good at what you do
– Guide them to take the next step (book, buy, or contact)
4. Strategy-led content that builds trust over time. You can’t build a strong brand without showing up consistently. But not just showing up, showing up with purpose.
Your brand should make people say: “She gets it, and I trust her to help me.” This is where I step in and how I help clients, with honest work that makes businesses feel seen and supported.
Whether you're just starting out or finally ready to get serious about how your brand shows up online, please know this:
You don't need to be everywhere. You just need to show up well when and where it matters.
