You have full permission to steal these font pairings!

When it comes to building your brand, fonts do more than just “look good.” They speak before your audience even reads a word.

Picking the right typography system isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about emotion. It’s how your brand introduces itself.

So before you choose your fonts, pause and ask:
What do I want people to feel when they see my brand?
Am I going for calm and soft, or bold and loud?
Does this pairing sound like me?

Because your typography sets the tone for everything else. Take some time to explore how each font makes you feel. And if you find one you love… you have my permission to steal it 😉

Calm, grounded, and a little coastal, that’s the energy this palette gives.

Soft whites, cool sage, and ocean blues that make any space (or brand) feel fresh and effortless.

If your brand vibe is relaxed confidence with a touch of elegance, this one’s for you.

When I first started my business, I thought having a “nice logo” was enough to be taken seriously. I DIY’d one in Canva, picked random colours that I liked, and threw together a landing page.

Guess what? Nobody cared. Clients didn’t “get” what I was about, and honestly, I didn’t either. My brand felt like everyone else’s, and it showed.

It wasn’t until I invested time into building a clear brand message (what really makes me stand out) and pairing it with visuals that matched my vibe that things shifted.

Suddenly, my business felt like “me,” and it showed on my website and other touch points. My Instagram wasn’t just pretty, it was purposeful. And the right clients started showing up.

That’s when I learnt: strong branding isn’t about looking cute, it’s about being understood.

Your brand is often the first conversation with your audience. Call it your first impression, if you may. If it’s confusing, they’ll scroll past. But when it’s clear and intentional, it becomes magnetic.

👉 This is why I do what I do today: helping creative businesses package their story in a way that feels authentic and attracts clients who get it.

What about you? Did you ever underestimate the power of branding until you experienced it firsthand?

Colour psychology is one of the easiest ways to tell your brand story without saying a single word.

Here’s a quick trick 👇
Upload your brand colour palette to ChatGPT (yes, you can literally upload an image!) and ask it to give you 8 descriptive words.

Those words should capture your brand’s vibe, mood, and message.

Does it feel cozy? Bold? Playful? Grounded? Elevated? Romantic? Nostalgic? Refined?

If the answer is “hmm… not really,” then your palette might be cute but confused.

Building a personal brand isn’t just about logos or aesthetics; it’s about clarity, consistency, and connection.

When I first started, I thought “showing up” meant posting randomly and hoping people noticed, but that didn't work out.

It wasn’t until I got intentional with my message, visuals, and strategy that things began to shift.

Your brand is the story people tell about you when you’re not in the room. So… what story are you telling?

From confused visuals → premium presence

Your work might be amazing, but if your brand looks scattered, people won’t see your value.

Because your brand isn’t just meant to look pretty, it’s meant to sell, build trust, and position you as premium.

If you’re ready to step into the premium presence your work deserves, let’s talk.

Your colours aren’t just pretty shades, they’re your brand’s first impression.

I didn’t want to build ‘pretty’ brands, I wanted to build profitable ones.

When I started my online business, I had so much fire in my bones. So much excitement to work with business owners, helping them build brands that actually sell, not just look pretty.

Back then, I didn’t have it all figured out (honestly, I still don’t lol). But I knew one thing for sure: I didn’t want my clients to blend in.

I wanted to support them in showing up boldly and confidently in a way that reflects their values, message, and unique story.

These were some of the core things I focused on and still do:

1. Clear brand message (because confusion costs sales). If people land on your page and don’t understand what you do or how you can help them, they'll leave. No matter how beautiful your design is. This is where strategy comes in.

2. Intentional colours and visuals that connect emotionally. Colours are not just for “aesthetics.” They carry meaning. I move in to work on the brand visuals only after the brand strategy has been developed.

3. A simple website that does the heavy lifting. Your website should do 3 things really well:

– Tell people who you are and who you help

– Show proof that you’re good at what you do

– Guide them to take the next step (book, buy, or contact)

4. Strategy-led content that builds trust over time. You can’t build a strong brand without showing up consistently. But not just showing up, showing up with purpose.

Your brand should make people say: “She gets it, and I trust her to help me.” This is where I step in and how I help clients, with honest work that makes businesses feel seen and supported.

Whether you're just starting out or finally ready to get serious about how your brand shows up online, please know this:

You don't need to be everywhere. You just need to show up well when and where it matters.

Imagine a world without colour...
Boring, confusing, and honestly? Stressful. That’s exactly how your brand feels to people when your colours don’t tell the right story.

Here’s what you need to know 👇🏽

🟣Before someone reads your brand message, they feel it through colour. Colours speak loudly!

🟡 Don’t just copy another brand’s palette off Pinterest. Ask yourself:

✨What do I want people to feel when they land on my page?
✨Who am I trying to attract?
✨Is this colour combo easy to read and accessible?

🟢 Start with your core brand values. If you’re warm, joyful, and relatable, you don’t need a cold, high-fashion colour scheme. Think earthy tones, peaches, muted greens. That’s how your people will see your heart before reading a word.

Colour tells your story before your logo ever shows up. So don’t skip this step!
