This design started with one question I always ask my clients:
“What emotion do you want people to feel when they see your flyer?”
For CMM Photo Studio, the answer was clear:
“We want our clients to feel celebrated.”
So I began by creating a warm background with soft highlights that look like a studio light setup — the same environment graduates will step into when they come for their photoshoot.
It sets the stage even before the customer enters the studio.
Next was typography.
“Convocation Photoshoot” had to stand out, but in a way that feels classy, not noisy.
That’s why I mixed a cursive celebratory font with a bold editorial typeface — elegance + authority.
Then came the packages.
I structured them like a menu because people respond better when they can compare.
Each card has breathing space to avoid clutter, and the black shadowed header “Package Includes” acts like an anchor that guides the eye downward.
The model in graduation attire was the final touch — strategically placed to the right so the design flows naturally from text → to face → to contact info.
This design isn’t just about selling a package.
It is crafted to represent a journey —
Your gown.
Your smile.
Your achievement.
Your moment.
