HEART-FELT LETTER TO ALL TEACHERS AND EDUCATORS..✍🏻

In my closet, as each day springs forth, I imagine a world without you. The world itself would have disagreed, barking with grieve in the sky, and pouring down its tears to the earth.

Good morning to one and all. Today is an auspicious occasion where we get a chance to acknowledge the hardwork of the teachers who mould the students into future leaders. This day is known as the "Teachers’ Day".

Long ago could we have died of lack of knowledge, but no! You chose that we may live, putting your efforts and time to work, And pouring your knowledge on us, That long disappeared smile, appears back.

Teachers are the pillars of a country. They guide and shape the destiny of the students. They teach them to become better human beings. They are the reason behind the successful career of students.

*HAPPY TEACHERS DAY*

MY CHILD IS NOT SMART, WHAT DO I DO? (PART ONE)

ENCOURAGE GROWTH MINDSET

1. Teach That Mistakes Are Okay
Let your child know it’s okay to make mistakes because we can learn from them and grow.

2. Teach Them Positive Self-Talk
Encourage them to speak kindly to themselves. Instead of saying, "I’m not good at this," they can say, "I can learn to do this with time, effort, and practice"

3. Show Them How You Keep Learning
Share with them times when you found something hard but kept trying. Let them understand that struggle can be part of learning something new.

4. Encourage Problem-Solving
Ask questions that let them think for themselves. For example, "What do you think we can try next?"

5. Help Them Set Small Goals
Work with your child to set small, easy-to-reach goals. For example, "Let’s try reading for 10 minutes every day this week and see how it goes."

6. Share Stories of People Who Worked Hard
Tell them stories about people who didn’t give up, like inventors or athletes, to show that success takes effort. For example, "Thomas Edison kept trying, even after many failures, before inventing the light bulb."

Keep encouraging your child. Embibe the growth mindset into them by teaching them these habits, letting them understand that learning takes effort and that they can get better with practice.

Always do it with love.

RAISING EMOTIONALLY INTELLIGENT KIDS

Emotional intelligence is the ability to understand and manage your own feelings, and to recognize and respond well to the emotions of others. It's about being aware of how emotions affect behavior and handling relationships in a thoughtful and empathetic way.

Now, before we talk about the "HOW" of raising emotionally intelligent kids, we first need to understand the "WHY"

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO TEACH YOUR KIDS EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE?

1. Helps them understand feelings:
They learn to know what they’re feeling and why.

2. Makes them better at handling problems:
Kids can calm down and deal with their emotions in a good way.

3. Improves friendships: They understand others’ feelings, making it easier to be kind and get along with friends.

4. Builds confidence: Knowing their feelings helps them feel more sure of themselves.

5. Teaches respect: They learn to respect how others feel and act nicely.
