*đź’«Awakening your spirit man for triumphant living!*

*Tuesday May 19th, 2026.*

Theme: *YOU MUST BE EMPOWERED*

*KEY TEXT:* *[Act 2:1-4]*
1. “When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
3. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
4. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”_

*KEY VERSE* : *_But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:_ (John 1:12)*

*PEBBLES (MESSAGE)*
Good morning beloved. I pray today the Holy Spirit shall baptize you afresh with His power, in Jesus’ name.

We live in a wicked world filled with evil and oppression. Daily, many fall because of dangers, wickedness, and cruelty around them. The Bible says, “...For the dark places of the earth are full of the haunts of cruelty.” (Psalms 74:20). There are people who derive pleasure from oppressing others, as seen in (Ecclesiastes 4:1).

There are scorpions and serpents in human form. Weapons are formed against God’s children, and evil gatherings rise constantly against people. This is why Jesus told His disciples to wait for empowerment before going out. To be powerless is to be vulnerable to oppression.

Every child of God is expected to be empowered to live victoriously and free from oppression. Empowerment is not only for pastors or founders, but for all believers, because everyone lives in this dark world and anyone who is powerless can become a victim.

As seen in the upper room experience, everyone present was filled with power; no one was left out, including the women among the one hundred and twenty disciples.

God wants His children secured, protected, and preserved. He has enough power for everyone and anoints His people so they can overcome the enemy. He said, “Touch not My anointed, and do My prophets no harm.”

NOTE:
How can you be truly empowered?
1. Be born again.
2. Develop a genuine thirst for power.
3. Be baptized in the Holy Ghost.
4. Understand that empowerment is available now.
5. Ask for empowerment in prayer.

PRAYERS:
Father, empower me to live triumphantly and victoriously in these last days, above the hurts and oppressions of the devil, in Jesus’ name.

Theme: *PROPHESY GOD'S WORD*

*KEY TEXT:* *Ezekiel 37:9&10*
9 - Also He said to me, "Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, "Thus says the Lord GOD: "Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.""'
10 - So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.

*KEY VERSE* : *_"And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams._ (Acts 2:17)*

*PEBBLES (MESSAGE)*
Good day beloved. I decree, as you declare God’s word this season, your world shall produce fresh fragrance in Jesus’ name.

Prophesying is not only for prophets. It is an act God designed for all His children. To prophesy means to give a divinely inspired utterance and to declare the will and purpose of God.

God’s will is revealed in His written word. Therefore, to prophesy means to declare what God has written and inspired us to speak. Our key text says, “…So I prophesied as I was commanded…” It is also written, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God…” (2 Timothy 3:16).
God’s word can never fail because it reflects His integrity. If His word fails, then God has failed. It is written, “…The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return…” (Isaiah 45:23). Every word of God is backed by His power.

However, the word remains limited until it is spoken with faith. God’s word in your heart carries power, but it must be spoken through your mouth to produce results. It is written, “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart…” (Romans 10:8).

In this context, prophesying means repeating what God has said with faith in our hearts. Since God’s word cannot fail, speaking His word in faith will also produce results.

God’s word is powerful in the mouth of believers, but it is an aberration in the mouth of an unbeliever, as written in _Psalms 50:16 (TPT). Also, speaking God’s word does not automatically make a believer a prophet.

NOTE:
How can your utterance become effective?
1. Ensure you are saved.
2. Study God’s word diligently.
3. Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
4. Practice daily Bible recitation.
5. Live a holy life.
6. Be prayerful.
7. Speak the word with faith.
8. Avoid doubt and negative confessions.

PRAYERS:
Father, let everything that makes Your word lose power in my mouth be removed in Jesus’ name.

PERSONAL CONFESSION
As I deliberately cultivate daily study, meditation, and confession of God’s word, my life shall follow God’s ordained path in Jesus’ name.

PEARL
God’s word in your mouth, with faith in your heart, produces results.

Theme: *YOU ARE INDEBTED TO GOD*

*KEY TEXT:* *Psalms 29:1&2*
1 - Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones, Give unto the LORD glory and strength.
2 - Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness."

*KEY VERSE:* *_Offer to God thanksgiving, And pay your vows to the Most High._ - (Psalms 50.14)*

*PEBBLES (MESSAGE)*
Good day beloved. I pray God Himself shall clothe you with the garment of praise in Jesus’ name.

According to our key verse, thanksgiving is a debt we owe God. He deserves our thanks for all He has done since the year began. From our text, we understand that thanksgiving is a due that must be paid.

Just as failure to pay dues to appropriate authorities attracts penalties, refusing to give thanks to God also has consequences. The Bible says: “If you will not hear, And if you will not take it to heart, To give glory to My name,” Says the LORD of hosts, “I will send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings...” (Malachi 2:2-3). This command is for every child of God.

Thanksgiving preserves God’s blessings in our lives. If you want His blessings to continue, you must continually thank Him. Failure to appreciate God can hinder further blessings.
God created us for His glory, as it is written: “Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.” (Isaiah 43:7). Praising God is not doing Him a favour; it is fulfilling our purpose.

Without thanksgiving, access to God’s presence becomes restricted: “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise...” (Psalm 100:4).
Praising God is non-negotiable because He inhabits praise: “But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel.” (Psalm 22:3). God does not dwell in murmuring and complaints. When you focus on what God has done, you will thank Him; when you focus only on what is yet to be done, you will complain. Until you appreciate Him for past blessings, you may hinder the manifestation of new ones.

NOTE:
Thanksgiving is a debt we owe God which must be paid:
1. Quickly; delay is dangerous.
2. Regularly; not occasionally.
3. Lavishly and sacrificially.
4. With singing, shouting, clapping, and dancing.

PRAYERS:
Father, thank You for all You have done for me and my family since the beginning of our existence on earth, in Jesus’ name.

PERSONAL CONFESSION:
This month, my struggles and problems shall end. The blessings I have received since the year began are preserved, increased, and multiplied. All my remaining heart desires this year shall be speedily granted in Jesus’ name.

PEARL
His food is praise. If you want Him to arise for you and against your enemies, feed Him regularly with the fruit of your lips.

Theme: *WAKE UP!*

*KEY TEXT:* *Joel 3:9&10*
9 - Proclaim this among the nations: "Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, Let all the men of war draw near, Let them come up.
10 - Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, "I am strong."'

*KEY VERSE* : *_... Wake up the mighty men, Let all the men of war draw near, Let them come up._ Joel 3:9*

*PEBBLES (MESSAGE)*
Good morning beloved. Today, I pray that God’s favour and grace will abound toward you, helping you stay awake and vigilant in Jesus’ name.

To wake up means to become aware, sensitive, and able to clearly see things around you. Sleep can be spiritual, physical, or psychological. Generally, sleep means being unaware of what is happening around you.

When a person refuses to wake up, satanic confusion and manipulation become easy. As it is written: “But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat” (Matthew 13:25). Excessive sleep opens the door to oppression.

When one sleeps off, things begin to slip away. If you refuse to wake up, poverty may become your companion. “Do not love sleep, lest you come to poverty; Open your eyes, and you will be satisfied with bread” (Proverbs 20:13).

God is not against sleep, but it becomes dangerous when it turns into addiction and prevents necessary discipline. When you understand that destiny is at stake, you will stay awake.

Many destinies have been damaged while men slept. Samson lost his strength while sleeping on Delilah’s knees: “And she made him sleep upon her knees…” (Judges 16:19). Also, Jesus found Peter and the disciples sleeping instead of watching and praying: “Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?” (Mark 14:37). I pray the Holy Spirit will awaken you from every form of slumber in Jesus’ name.

NOTE:
To wake up and remain awake:
1. Be disciplined and dedicated.
2. Stay connected to God who neither sleeps nor slumbers.
3. Sacrifice pleasure when necessary.
4. Keep company with spiritually awake people.
5. Put structures in place to control excess sleep.
6. Maintain a steady prayer and study life.
7. Be sensitive to divine instructions.

PERSONAL CONFESSION:
I am not a sleeping drone; I rise to occupy my throne. I shall not lose anything through negligence or insensitivity in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER:
1. Holy Spirit, wake me up from every form of slumber.

2. Father, empower me to maximize every opportunity before the end of this year in Jesus’ name.

PEARL:
Choose at least one hour between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m. to praise, pray, plan, or meditate on God’s Word at least three times weekly.

*KEY TEXT:* *Matthews 7:21-23*
21 - "Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 - Many will say to Me in that day, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
23 - And then I will declare to them, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'

*KEY VERSE:* *_Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?--unless indeed you are disqualified._ - (2 Corinthians 13:5)*

*PEBBLES (MESSAGE)*
Good day beloved. I pray that your eyes shall be opened to areas where you need to make necessary adjustments in your life, in Jesus' name.

It is important to answer some sincere questions so you can be sure of where you are heading after this life. Many people in church today, though fervent and tongue-speaking, are no longer on the right track.

According to our key text, Jesus said some who perform miracles and prophesy will still end up in hell.
Beloved, examine yourself. Ask yourself: “Am I truly born again? Am I genuinely saved? Do my conducts reflect Christ?” It is not about going to church or bearing a title like Pastor or Prophet.

Today, many people claim to be children of God while still living in sin. Some lift holy hands in church but manipulate figures at work. Some are fervent in church but engage in sexual immorality secretly. Some are habitual liars who twist the truth skillfully. Examine yourself honestly.

If you are righteous, your lifestyle will show it. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. (1 John 3:7)
The danger today is not only sinful acts, but people justifying sin and misleading others. Some now say adultery is acceptable if one is not caught, while others reduce sin to only murder. Beloved, stop and examine yourself.

NOTE:
Examine yourself with the following:
1. When did you give your life to Jesus?
2. How often do you study God's Word?
3. Do you have personal fellowship with God?
4. Do you feel convicted of sin?
5. Are you faithful in your local assembly?
5. Do you preach to others?
6. Are you still defending sinful habits?
7. Does your lifestyle draw people to Christ?

PERSONAL CONFESSION:
From today, I confess my shortcomings before God and receive grace to make necessary changes. I receive help to stop indulging in sin, in Jesus' name.

PRAYERS:
Father, thank You for this timely word.
Father, help me to sincerely examine myself, in Jesus' name.

PEARL
Refusing to confess sin deadens the conscience. The longer you stay in sin, the more damage it causes to your conscience and fellowship with God.

Theme: *POWER OF DETERMINATION*

*KEY TEXT:* *[Genesis 26:18-22]*
18. “And Isaac dug again the wells of water which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father, for the Philistines had stopped them up after the death of Abraham. He called them by the names which his father had called them.
19...
20. But the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with Isaac’s herdsmen, saying, “The water is ours.” So he called the name of the well Esek, because they quarreled with him.
21...
22. And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, “For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”

*KEY VERSE* : *_- But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God._ (Acts 20:24)*

*PEBBLES (MESSAGE)*
Good morning beloved. I pray the grace and strength you need to focus on what God has ordained for your breakthrough shall be released unto you today, in Jesus’ name.

Determination is the resolve to achieve a goal despite obstacles and challenges. It is the force that keeps a person moving with purpose and persistence.

Many people abandon their dreams too early because they lack determination. Opposition is part of the journey to success, and only those who remain determined eventually succeed.

Isaac’s determination restored the wells of his father despite the opposition of the Philistines, and eventually he found Rehoboth. David also defeated Goliath through strong determination when he declared: “...your servant will go and fight with this Philistine” (1 Samuel 17:32). Determination gives strength to stand firm and overcome challenges.

Some problems may appear like mountains, but determination can level them. It is not enough to know God’s plan for your life; you must also have the determination to pursue it until fulfillment.

Nothing great comes easily. Without determination, discouragement can stop a person completely. But when you are determined to succeed at all costs, setbacks can become great comebacks.

NOTE:
Develop strong determination through:
1. Fervent prayers coupled with fasting.
2. Consistent study and practice of the Word.
3. A lifestyle of thanksgiving and praise.
4. A mindset of being a blessing and not a burden.

PERSONAL CONFESSION
I am unstoppable. I receive fresh grace to run my race with stronger determination. Whatever I have lost through lack of determination shall be restored in double this month, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYERS:
Father, empower me by the Holy Spirit with strong determination to succeed in all I do for the rest of this year, in Jesus’ name.

PEARLS
Whatever you are doing that does not attract opposition most likely has no future.

Theme: *BECOMING LIKE JESUS CHRIST*

KEY TEXT: 1 John 3:1-3
1 - Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
2 - Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
3 - And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

KEY VERSE: till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4:13)

PEBBLES (MESSAGE)
Good morning dearly beloved. I pray you shall receive good news that will change your status forever in Jesus' name.

Becoming like Christ is a gradual process. Spiritual maturity is neither instant nor automatic; it is progressive. Paul said, “This will continue until we are... mature, just as Christ is, and we will be completely like Him” (Ephesians 4:13 CEV).

You are a work in progress. Developing the character of Christ will take your entire lifetime, and it will only be completed when Jesus returns or when we get to heaven. At that time, every unfinished work in us will become perfect. As it is written, “But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.” (1 Corinthians 13:10). Also, “Beloved, now we are children of God... when He is revealed, we shall be like Him.” (1 John 3:2).

This means that when we finally see Jesus, we shall become perfect like Him. God is more interested in building your character than anything else. He may seem silent about some life decisions, such as career choices, because many careers can still fit into His will for your life. What matters most to God is that whatever you do, you do it in a Christlike manner.
God is more concerned about your character than your career because your character will follow you into eternity, not your career. His purpose is to make you like Himself before taking you to heaven.

Everything that has happened, is happening, and will happen in your life is permitted to help shape your growth into Christ. Challenges and experiences reveal how much you have grown since giving your life to Christ.
That is why when a believer excuses anger, lies, bitterness, or other works of the flesh as “just my nature,” it shows that the nature of Christ has not been fully formed in such a person. As believers, we must daily allow Christ to be formed in us through obedience, fellowship, and spiritual discipline.

NOTE:
To experience consistent growth in the image of Christ, do these:
1. Ensure you are born again.
Make daily word study a deliberate lifestyle.
2. Do not only read the Word; practice and obey it.
3. Maintain daily fellowship with God and other believers.
4. Pray daily for grace to remain consistent.
5. Be willing to yield daily to the correction and leading of the Holy Spirit.

PRAYER:
Father, I receive grace for steady and consistent growth in the stature of Christ in me, in Jesus' name.

PERSONAL CONFESSION
Today, I will grow to look more like Christ than I did yesterday. I am the express image of Christ’s stature. I am a work in progress, and I will not be abandoned in Jesus' name.

PEARL
Becoming like Jesus is your greatest privilege, your present responsibility, and your ultimate destiny.

Theme: *UNDERSTANDING SUBMISSION - Part 4*

*KEY TEXT:* *[2 Corinthians 10:3-6]*
3 - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
4 - For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
5 - casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
6 - and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

*KEY VERSE:* *_Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether to the king as supreme,- or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good. For this is the will of God,..--_(1 Peter 2:13-15)*

*PEBBLES (MESSAGE)*
Good day beloved. I declare that whatever is positioned from the pit of hell to keep rebelling against the plan of God for your life shall be uprooted today, in Jesus’ name.
Previously, we looked at the meaning of submission and identified three types of submission from the Word of God.

The fourth type is submission to instituted human authority, as stated in our key verse. As children of God whose citizenship is in heaven, we are instructed to obey the laws of the land “for the Lord’s sake.” Our obedience must align with God’s Word. We are to fulfill our civic responsibilities by obeying laws, participating in the democratic process, and contributing to community development.

Though situations in developing countries may provoke rebellion, believers are still admonished to submit to constituted authority while praying against policies or laws that threaten our faith and freedom of worship.

Lastly is submission unto God. “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7)
You submit to God when you seek His counsel and follow His instructions even when they are difficult. Refusing God’s instruction is pride and rebellion. A proud or rebellious person cannot walk in grace and authority at the same time.

When man disobeyed God, he lost both Eden and his divine authority on earth. Remember: “...being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.” (2 Corinthians 10:6)
Submission to God is the foundation of every other submission discussed in this series. Submit properly and operate in unusual power and authority.
Obedience preserves divine authority.
Rebellion hinders grace and spiritual authority.

*NOTE:*
To submit so as to exercise authority, you must:
1. Walk in the reality of who you are, as a child of God.
2. Be a genuine student of God's word.
3. Pray for right leaders of your country and right policies.
4. Understand that whatever instruction God gives you, it's for your good, not for His.

*PERSONAL CONFESSION:*
I am a child of God. I am not a rebel. I submit myself to every leading of God over my life. I walk in undiluted authority in Jesus name.

*PRAYERS:*
1. Father, please help me to submit myself to every authority you placed over me, so I can access your authority.
2. Father please help me to obey you by all means and in all ways in Jesus name.

*PEARL*
Another word for disobedience is rebellion which is witchcraft 1 Sam 15:23. You might not practice witchcraft because you are not a witch, but when you walk in disobedience you just enrolled in the school of witchcraft.
