The people of Kwara and I express profound sorrow over the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR. He was a patriotic leader and statesman who left a lasting impact on Nigeria.

Our condolences go to his family, particularly Hajiya Aisha Buhari and the entire Buhari family, as well as all Nigerians.

May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest. Amin.
