With total submission to the decree of Allah, we announce the passing of Khaleefatul Adabiyyeen, Samaahatush Shaykh AbdulKadir Adisa Kamaludeen Al-Adabiy, which occurred today, Friday 29th May 2026.

We pray that Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, enlarge and illuminate his grave, accept his noble services to Islam, and admit him into Al-Jannatul Firdaus.

Alabelewe Sets Historic Pace with One-Year Professorial Endowment Commitment for Muhammad Kamalud-deen University

At the weekly lecture of the Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria held at Okekere, Ilorin, the Registrar of Muhammad Kamalud-deen University and National Murshid of the Youth Wing of the Society, Engr. Musa M. Kamaludeen Al-Adabiy, passionately called on well-meaning philanthropists and stakeholders to support the growth and development of the University through various intervention initiatives, including professorial endowment programmes.

In a significant and historic development, during a courtesy visit by the Management of Muhammad Kamalud-deen University led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rasheed Gbenga Jimoh, to the Abuja office of the Second National Vice President of the Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria, Alhaji Sharafuddeen Alabelewe publicly declared his readiness to set the pace as the first individual to champion a one-year Professorial Endowment in the history of the University.

Speaking during the engagement, Alhaji Sharafuddeen Alabelewe stated that he would prefer the endowment to be in the field of Accounting, being his area of specialization. He further encouraged other well-meaning Nigerians and lovers of educational advancement to emulate the gesture, emphasizing that the Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria remains a non-profit organization deeply committed to giving back to society and contributing meaningfully to human development.

Responding to the landmark gesture, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rasheed Gbenga Jimoh, expressed profound appreciation to Alhaji Sharafuddeen Alabelewe for the noble initiative and goodwill shown towards the University. He noted that the remarkable 100% success recorded during the November/December 2025 programme accreditation exercise conducted by the National Universities Commission was made possible through the unwavering support and goodwill of distinguished personalities such as him.

The visit also featured special prayers offered on behalf of Shaykh Muhammad Kamalud-deen HabeebuLlah Al-Adabiy, the Board of Trustees, Governing Council, Management, Staff, and Students of Muhammad Kamalud-deen University by Engr. Musa M. Kamaludeen Al-Adabiy, Registrar of the University.

Ansarul Islam Society Hails Prof. Oloyede’s Decade of Transformational Leadership at JAMB

The Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria has congratulated the outgoing Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Prof. Is-haq Olanrewaju Oloyede, as he concludes what it described as a “remarkable and transformational” ten-year tenure in office.

The National President of the Society and Chairman, Board of Trustees of Mohammad Kamaldeen University, Alhaji Chief Suleiman Layiwola Afolabi, praised Prof. Oloyede for bringing transparency, accountability and integrity to the operations of JAMB.

Afolabi said the outgoing Registrar had repositioned the examination body into one of the most efficient and financially responsible public institutions in Nigeria, noting that his reforms restored public confidence in the system while improving operational standards and increasing remittances to the Federal Government.

He stated that Prof. Oloyede’s achievements “have written his name in gold in the history of educational administration in Nigeria,” adding that his discipline, honesty and commitment to national development remain exemplary.

The statement, issued by Alhaji Gesua Abdulyekini, Public Relations Officer 2 of the Ansarul Islam Society, Ilorin Branch, also highlighted the Registrar’s supportive role in the early development of Mohammad Kamaldeen University, noting that his guidance and encouragement contributed significantly to its successful take-off and growth.

According to the Society, Prof. Oloyede’s contributions at the formative stage of the institution provided a strong foundation for its present progress and stability.

“Professor Oloyede really assisted Mohammad Kamaldeen University at its formative stage. He contributed greatly to where the university is today, and we remain grateful for his support, wisdom, and fatherly role toward the growth of the institution,” the statement added.

Afolabi also offered prayers for the outgoing JAMB Registrar, asking for divine mercy, good health and continued blessings, while invoking spiritual guidance for his future endeavours.

He further commended the Federal Ministry of Education for recognising Prof. Oloyede’s contributions, expressing confidence that his legacy would continue to inspire excellence in public service and educational administration in Nigeria.

This is another growing private university. Stop taking your children/wards to where they will be stopped from adorning the hijab or compelled to attend fellowship.
