"...it's a welcome development" -Olomu

His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulraheem Oladele Adeoti, the Olomu of Omu-Aran, has commended the Commissioner of Police in Kwara State, CP Adekimi Ojo, and the Nigeria Police Force for siting a Police Clinic in Omu-Aran.

Oba Adeoti described the project as a welcome development, noting that Omu-Aran, with its growing population, deserves more health facilities and expressed happiness that the police have made it happen.

I’ll Support Legislation To Unlock Kwara South’s Agric Potential - Prince Adewoye

A Kwara South Senatorial hopeful, Prince Olalekan Adewoye, has said that tackling insecurity is key to unlocking massive agricultural development in Kwara South.

Adewoye said farmers in the senatorial district must be able to access their farms without fear, while investors need confidence that their investments are safe.

He stated this while speaking on his blueprint for the agricultural sector of Kwara South.

According to him, "If we solve the problem of insecurity, you will see massive development in agriculture across Kwara South. Our farmers must be able to go to their farms without fear, and investors must have the confidence to invest in our agricultural sector."

"As Senator, my focus will be on supporting legislation, government policies and interventions that will create a secure environment for agriculture to thrive. Security and agricultural development are interconnected, and when our people can farm safely, we can unlock the enormous economic potential of Kwara South."

Prince Adewoye noted that Kwara South is blessed with vast arable land and industrious farmers, adding that what is needed is the right security architecture and government support to transform agriculture into a major economic driver for the zone.
