It’s what you’ve experienced, tested, failed at, figured out, and learned to execute.

Give them the recipe. They still can’t become you.

You experience remote work for the first time and suddenly understand why people don’t want to go back. 😂

It’s honestly a whole different world.

No waking up and wondering what you’re going to wear to work.

No spending hours in traffic.

No transportation wahala, especially in Nigeria. 😭

No having to choose between being present for your children and showing up for your career.

You can work, take care of your kids, build your skills, earn your income, and still have room to build other streams of income.

And the flexibility??? 🥹

Once you experience being able to structure your work around your life instead of structuring your entire life around work, it’s hard to unsee it.

I’ve experienced it, and honestly?

I’d choose remote work again. And again. And again.

If you’re still sleeping on remote work opportunities, please wake up. 😂

Because there is a whole world of work out here that doesn’t require you to leave your house at 6am just to spend half your salary getting to the office.

Learn the skills. Position yourself. Start looking for the opportunities.

You really don’t want to find out about this lifestyle five years from now and wish you had started today.

I know motherhood can make things harder.

I know what it feels like to have a baby crying while you’re trying to work. To have your children playing in the background while you’re recording. To have your plans interrupted a hundred times in a day.

But at some point, you have to stop seeing your children as the reason you can’t start.

They can be the reason you start.

Your children don’t have to be a limitation. They can be your driving force.

You don’t need perfect silence.
You don’t need a perfect home.
You don’t need uninterrupted 8-hour workdays.

Sometimes, you just need to start with the little pockets of time you have.

Record while they’re playing.
Work while they’re napping.
Learn while they’re asleep.
Batch-create when you get a little window.

It may not look perfect. It may not happen as quickly as it would if you had no responsibilities.

But slow progress is still progress.

And one day, your children will grow up and see that their mother didn’t abandon her dreams just because she became a mother.

She found a way.

So please, don’t wait until your children are older to become the woman you want to be.

Start with them.
Build with them.
Let them watch you become.

Your dream still matters. ❤️

I don't have all the answers.
I'm not a parenting expert, a marriage counselor, or a life coach.
I'm simply a 26-year-old woman who's made mistakes, learned hard lessons, cried, celebrated small wins, and is still figuring life out one day at a time.
If you're a young woman, a wife, or a mom trying to balance your dreams with your responsibilities, I hope something in this video reminds you that your dreams still matter.
You deserve to grow.
You deserve to invest in yourself.
