Like Ile Elerin, Ile Ogbomoso, Ile Tapa, Baruba, Gobir, Fulani, and other historic compounds across Ilorin, Ile Aráòyọ̀ reflects the city's long history of migration and settlement.

These communities were founded by people who arrived from different regions in search of security, trade, and new opportunities. Rather than remaining strangers, they became part of Ilorin's story.

The existence of these compounds is a reminder that Ilorin has long been a meeting point of cultures, where diversity, peaceful coexistence, and hospitality have flourished for generations.

APC's Shambolic Membership Registration in Kwara

The APC in Kwara State continues its disgraceful membership registration exercise, targeting only those loyal to the Governor. They're handing out money, food items, and other inducements to buy loyalty.

This is not empowerment, it’s exploitation. A party that claims to lead but resorts to handouts shows just how badly it has failed to uplift the people economically, needless to mention security of life and property.

The people of Kwara deserve better than this politics of poverty.
