In Photos: PCRC Kwara Marks 41st Anniversary, Honours Officers, Widows, and Philanthropists
The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Kwara State Command has celebrated its 41st Anniversary with an event recognizing outstanding police officers, empowering POWA widows, and honouring key dignitaries and philanthropists.
Held at the Police Officers’ Mess, GRA, Ilorin, the ceremony was organized by the Office of the National Assistant Auditor General, Alhaji Muhammad Uthman Jagunmo, in collaboration with the PCRC Kwara Command.
Commendation awards were presented to outstanding officers for their commitment to public safety. Dr. Murtala Raheem was decorated as the first Kwara PCRC Ambassador by the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Oba Barr. Ismail Bolaji Muhammad Atoloye Alebiosu.
Widows under the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA) also received support and relief packages.
Awards of Excellence were given to dignitaries and philanthropists, including Alhaji Abdulganneyu Omola, CEO of Kasmag Motors, for their contributions to community development.
Jagunmo urged citizens to respect and support the police, reaffirming that officers remain committed to protecting lives and property.
