The passing of Shaykh Solih Alli Ajiyobiojo, the venerable founder of Istilaha School for Arabic and Islamic Studies, leaves a void that words can scarcely fill. For decades, Shaykh Solih and Shaykh Zakariyah walked parallel paths, bound by a deep-seated love for Islamic scholarship and community development. From their early days navigating life in Ebute Metta, to their shared years in Ikotun Egbe, their bond only grew stronger as the landscape around them shifted.
